Not sure if this will help everyone, but i was having really bad fps and artefacts after installing 1.2. I decided to delete my Skyrimprefs.ini and let the game create a new one. Since doing this i am running better than ever. Butter smooth :)

Well the patch has broken the game. Ive now gone from 50fps to 25fps outdoors and around 22 indoors. Absolutely unplayable. How is this even possible?

Any suggestions?

Its going ok. Skyrim is struggling a little though. Running on high, getting a steady 50+ fps outside, but in towns im usually seeing around 25-35 fps. Assumed this was because im lacking the vram?

Question is, will i see any performance increase?

Currently running on the 460, very tempted by the 6850. Am i going to see much performance increase when playing at 1920 x 1080?

Ahh right, theres me about to purchase a new card! Any suggestions on what speeds to aim for?

Running on a 460 768mb and Phenom 955 at stock. Getting only 30ish fps on Skyrim. Would a cpu overclock help or is it time to upgrade my card?

This would be amazing if we can get it so cleared locations are a different colour to discovered ones.

Can you link me to the exact patch you're using? And do i run it through steam library or directly off the exe?

Headphones all day. PC is in the living room so to as not severely **** off my gf they are essential.
