You and I seem to be on the same wave length on that.
But given the apparent plan is to cram us into 15/20 minute neighbourhoods with very restricted means of leaving them UBI is going to be essential.
Their Green Utopia is more like a nightmare to me but since all political parties have the...
Just accept that Net Zero is going to cost 100's of thousands of jobs and UBI will be needed. There is no like for like with net zero plans. Read the Government funded Absolute Zero report compiled by the major universities. To meet net zero by 2050 all UK airports and leisure ports need to...
Its running a 600 watt PSU, but I have a 750 watt in my older system that can be swapped. Like I say I am not looking for lightning performance, my display is an old 32 inch TV on HDMI. Its all a bit of fun rather than serious. I will be looking at playing games like Far Cry 3 to 5, Alien...
I haven't gamed in years but just aquired an Intel i5 7400 3.0Ghz. I Have extensive Steam library of older games and am not interested in running games at full spec or ridiculous FPS. Just something that will function and give a few hours of fun a week. Seems video cards are 5 to 6 hundred...
Totally agree, but I don't think they will be the only victims. With the end of ICE, vehicles electrically restricted to speed limits and pay as you drive taxation its difficult to see how sports/performance car market will thrive.
I personally can't see the enthusiasm about what KW motor a car...
This pops up from time to time, originally thought of in 1964.
I reckon this time it will be implemented. Cars being anything other than just for essential journeys is where we are heading.
Seems like a complete pain. 10 litre containers it is then. Just seems like so much plastic wastage and a complete bell of a job to top up.
Being a taxi I go through a fair bit.
Just wondered has anyone tried to fill their adblue tank directly from a pump?
You see them at HGV pumps. Somebody told me the nozzle wont fit in a car. Not sure if thats true.
Don't want to look like a complete tool trying it in front of a load of HGV drivers if it doesn't fit.
Getting back into World of Warships again. To be honest my strategy was rubbish before but I am now learning how to use them properly.
Not too bad a game really
Two of our Toyota Avensis reached 500k on the taxi circuit. One was on the original clutch until 350k!! By far the most reliable cars we ever had.
It varies from local authority to local authority. Also some firms place a maximum age on their vehicles.
Our local authority says the car must...
Is there an SP20 now?
I got flashed a week ago in London. Totally missed when the road changed speed limits.
Think I was about 25 mph at most. Have the speed limiter set to 30 round London.
Be my first ever ticket after 30 years of driving lol
Judging by the 90's recession and the financial crash and car prices seem to stay around the same from what I recall. The only thing I noticed especially during the 90's was a lot of tat appeared used. People that had scrimped on servicing by using back street auto's and still wanted big...
They shelved the sequel didn't they? Such a shame as I still rate Isolation as probably the best game I have played in terms keeping my attention.
I am sure I had a glitch which gave the ending away.
I have had my Minibus from new. Its a Vivaro with Gen 6 1.6 engine with Ad-blue. As a taxi there is an awful lot of stop and start and some months a lack of long runs. From new it has given me a 'check anti-pollution system' warning at regular intervals.
It started about 18,000 miles...
I really liked New Dawn. Will start it again shortly. My only criticism is you can unintentionally fly through the main missions missing the sides. The sides are essential to upgrade or you suddenly find yourself in the last act which is impossible without upgrades.
