I think this game will live or die based on the physics models, the videos dont bring me a lot of hope but am happy to be proven wrong, i spent many hundreds of hours on the first one just cruising around, but the physics changed on the second one and it just wasnt the same.

Another Vote here for the guys at adur, i have been out the scene for a few years now, but they have always been great to "newbies" and happy to help where they can. Also like the track at 1066 (went and watched one of the big races last weekend) but they are set up very differently to Adur

I have been looking into something similar, but more of a family based server (somewhere to store media/ run a family modded minecraft server) and it has suprised me at how low a spec set up i actually needed.

Tribes! thats a name i have not heard in a long time, i remember playing one of the older ones, wasnt any good at it, but remember it being fun.

Ive tried starting the first one a couple of times now, but i only get a few hours in before i drop off it all together. But i have decided to to reinstall it and give it another go once ive cleared my plate.

I saw this and it looks interesting, however I have never got into the previous games, so will wait until some proper gameplay footage comes out before I make any decisions
