    ** THIS PRODUCT BLOWS!!! **

Just got mine delivered, I appear to be missing the ESD brushes, they're shown on the outside of the box but they're nowhere to be found inside :(

Not done a wc build for 5 years

I'll answer as best I can as someone who's just got into watercooling :) D5 Pumps are still fantastic, using a PWM version in my build right now, personally have no experience with pump tops as I bought an EK XRES pump/res combo 16/10mm seems to be the most common soft tubing these days, able...

    Number of Rads

I'm using a 420 in the top and 280 in the front, for my PC, very happy so far. For adding a drain/temp sensor I am using one of these connected to the outlet on my res/pump combo 1 x Bitspower Q-Adapter 1/4 to 1/4 Inch 3x IG - Rotatable Carbon Black= £15.95 With it rotated so temp...

    Safe water temps?

Glad to know the tubes/pump is good for higher temps than I thought, managed to get the fans down to about 600RPM at which point they're inaudible (can still hear that darned PSU though!), with the exception of a slight clicking noise at times, assuming they aren't getting enough power to run...

    Safe water temps?

Hi peeps! So I've finally got my watercooling loop up and running, and I'm wondering what a safe temp for water is? Using speedfan I can just turn my fans off entirely at idle, and leave the pump at max speed because I can't hear it. CPU/GPU temps seem fine, but water temps were creeping up to...

    New to watercooling

From what I can tell it seems to be like a more advanced PWM splitter instead of a fan controller. You plug it into a PWM header on your motherboard, and the fans into the hub, and then control it through the bios. You may be able to control speeds through something like speedfan too

    New to watercooling

I'm thinking of using one of these as an alternative, it also uses SATA instead of Molex which should help keep cable management a bit cleaner :) https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phanteks-pwm-fan-hub-ca-009-pt.html

    New to watercooling

I'll definitely be keeping a drain port of some kind, don't think I quite have the balls to open up a port and hope for the best :p Realised I can still get purple dye direct from Mayhems, so that chops another ~£5 or so off, is there anything else you guys would recommend before I start...

    New to watercooling

Thanks for the advice Disco :) Regarding the temp sensor, where would be the best place to put it in a loop? I'm assuming on one of the spare ports on the GPU? Or would somewhere closer to the res be better? On a related note are there any temp sensors that can be monitored from within windows...

    New to watercooling

So watercooling is something I've wanted to do for a while now, and I've been steadily doing some research over the last week to get my head around what parts I'll need and how to do it. I'll be watercooling the system in my signature Rough loop plan: Loop going...

    Is 500W enough?

Currently in the process of getting some extra parts to build my brother a PC, I'm planning on using an i7 6700K and my old R9 290 DirectCUII. Will this PSU be enough? Not planning to overclock anything currently on the system currently...

    Which 27" G-Sync 1440P 144/165Hz IPS/TN Monitor?

Personally love my PG279Q to bits, I think my only minor snag is that I kind of wish the G-Sync indicator was white instead of red, or that you could turn it off as when G-Sync is off the light is white :p But that's a very minor flaw on an otherwise fantastic monitor :)

** BLACK FRIDAY / CYBER MONDAY STARTS AROUND 9AM THURSDAY!! **

Oh noes, just put in an order for WD Black 6TB, Sandisk X300 512GB and ASUS M.2 Adapter and it looks like it's ordered twice! :( EDIT - Just submitted a webnote, hopefully this can be fixed before both payments go through.

    Terrible FPS with 2 monitors.

Little update on this, had the problem again yesterday and after some searching around saw there's a hotfix driver available here https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3798 This appears to have fully fixed the problem, which was possibly not caused by having 2 monitors, but it...

    Terrible FPS with 2 monitors.

Well I think now I am even more confused. After searching around some more for problems similar to mine, I came upon someone who fixed their problem recently here. I'd already tried a full clean install of the drivers with DDU and clicking the clean install option in the installer. So this time...

    Terrible FPS with 2 monitors.

So since I've had my 980Ti I've been having some problems. First was GTAV where it would have low FPS ingame, that was fixed by turning off Vsync (no idea why that worked). Then I started playing ARK Survival and that had some problems with dual monitors anyway unless it was in borderless...

    ** OcUK KINGS OF G-SYNC: PREDATOR X34 CURVE & ASUS PG279Q 165Hz IN STOCK!! **

Had my PG279Q for a week now, incredibly happy with it! Everything feels smoother and crisper than when I was using my previous monitor (which is now my secondary monitor).

The GTX 980 Ti owners thread.

Just got my 980Ti SC+ ACX setup in a shiny (or not so shiny) Define R5 Blackout along with a PG279Q to make sure it gets to stretch it's legs. :D (Apologies for the potatoish pics, my OPO doesn't seem to like low light very much, but I hate flash.)

    ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 144hz 2560x1440 IPS G-Sync.

Just got mine setup, very nice so far. Bit of glow when in a dark room but not too noticeable to me (camera picks it up with ease though). Out of interest, how do you check GSync/144Hz is working? (first time being on the green team)
