So a "kettle lead" which is a actually a 13a UK mains plug with a C13 IEC power connector should only ever have a fuse with a max rating of 10a in when on a 220v +- 10% supply
Why you might ask?
Because the C13 IEC connector is only rated for 10a
Occasionally a few higher rated PC PSUs will...
I know in Adobe Audition you can set a separate disk as a temp file location
Could you do the same and add an additional SSD to this PC?
Then also if that doesn't work, you could use said SSD to put in a new PC
Food for thought...
Well this is a random one
I'm trying to identify a TV advert from approx 20 years ago
Essentially it was a company such as HP or Epson, and had loads of old dot matrix printers and scanners that made some music
Vague I know!
But if anyone could help that'd be ace
p.s. Admin, If this is the...
Still rocking a X58 / x5650 CPU system here, using a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 that I purchased on the 26th May 2009 from here
That's a decade.
Madness
Managed to get 24GB of Hyper X RAM fairly cheap, added a USB3 PCI-E card
The only thing I wished it had was SATA3......
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
Purchased almost 10 years ago and still going strong today with the following..........
Xeon X5650 - Approx £40 for a 6 core CPU
12GB DDR3 - Cost £48 back in 2011
1000w Corsair PSU - Approx £146 back in 2008
Not that surprising I've not upgraded....
Was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice with the wiring of a reversing camera in my Fiat Ducato van (exciting eh), which I've yet to purchase I might add
I own a chinese style android headunit that has a colour screen, so it will be wired into that. When I stick the van...
Riva TNT2
GeForce 3 ti200

Radeon XT 800 PE (another deal from OcUK)
Nvidia 6800
Radeon X1950 (First PCI-E card........ with a s754 CPU randomly)

I'd been playing with assault with the MP18 to get some award things, and would get mid/mid high on the scoreboard
Went back to support with the chauchat and came top with a 2.1 K/D ratio on the first round I played........
Doom on a LAN circa '93
Radeon 9800.......... remember when OcUK got a batch in for about £150? Amazing
Dial-up to 1mbit Blueyonder cable

Also wow at 5 year old necro post.
Playing around with a spare one of these and would like to update the BIOS
It's got an E5504 CPU which I'd like to change to an X5650 (which is supported according to HP)
Problem is that the HP support website is confusing as hell, and I'm pretty sure it wants me to have a support contract...
For what it's worth I couldn't get my GTX1070 to output HDMI to my 24", with 2 x DVI on both my 17" monitors
It seems like it's HDMI + DVI OR DVI + DVI
But I was probably doing something wrong....
I moved from a QX9650 to an i7 920 back in 2009 and was pretty annoyed that there was no real performance increase
Upgrade didn't "cost" me anything as I sold the QX9650 2nd hand for more than the 920 was new!
But in retrospect, spending £200 on a motherboard in 2009 has been the best...
