IT Technician and IT Support (or something along those lines), some job posts have different names, but they are more or less the same jobs (some even say IT Engineer but have the job requirements of IT Support).
Also, I'm 100% positive that a GCSE Grade C standard or equivalent qualification...
I know what you mean, but I'm talking about my future job prospects. Also, I've been there and done that before, while on a job trial for a part time job at McDonald's during my time at college for a few days and didn't really enjoy it that much because it's a fast food restaurant. After college...
Hello all who use OCUK Forums. I haven't posted here properly in a while because I've been busy with life in general.
As the title reads and states, I'm just looking at my options once again because I achieved Triple Grade Distinction in my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT many years ago...
Anything can give you cancer if you have too much or too less of it. Natural sweeteners are a number one concern for me. Especially sucralose and sorbitol. Schools are patronising kids to go sugar free and the sugar free alternatives of drinks and sweets are more damaging than the sugar ones!!!!
Hey all I thought now's my time to post in this thread with a recent experience I've had regarding my mental health and my therapist/coach. I will briefly tell you that I suffer from multiple issues regarding mental health (that have been diagnosed through means of doctors) and I have already...
I've just bought one of the Battlefield games for half the normal price for console using my debit card. Should I be worried or am I safe? I mean I could have used PayPal but it means a whole load more faffing around to buy it.
Hey everyone,
Does anyone have a problem with the Superhub 2ac where after a week or two (sometimes 3 weeks) the 2.4GHz wireless network locks up and won't allow anyone to connect to it - until the hub has been power cycled and restarted? However when this happens I can still connect to the...
Latest contract signed for - paying £54/pm for:
100Mbps BB
Mix TV
Talk More Anytime (highest phone package excluding international calls, since the next best package only includes an extra of allowing reduced cost international calls.)
I got the upgrade from 70Mbps to 100Mbps... Also the...
LOL @ the poll's results so far - makes me laugh actually, mainly because of the thought of the Tories/Conservatives winning again makes me sick to my mind and stomach.
Damn,
my family are paying £45 - 51 a month for:
70Mbps BB (SuperFibre 70).
MIxed TV
Talk More Anytime (used to be Talk Unlimited as far as I know).
IMHO, I'd use the fact you have the SuperHub 1 as a way to get VM to lower your monthly bill and instead of the SuperHub 3 I'd probably opt for...
OMG! Look here it is again, my normal internet speed is back temporarily - UNTIL tomorrow at 3pm/4pm when I get substandard internet speeds as low as 3Mbps for so called "fibre optic" until 1am and then the loop starts over again...
Really enjoying this is *hint the sarcasm*...
EDIT:
also...
Hmm, hard decision, I will probably see if things improve over the next few months, but if things don't improve I've had a discussion/talk with my dad about everything (since he's the one who mainly pays for the contract with VM) and he said me and him will seek and look for a better deal with...
I rang Virgin Media's retentions department in order to quickly get through to someone in order to talk/speak about the problems/issues I am facing, and she passed me onto the UK based English speaking call centre that deals with broadband and technical faults.
I explained my problems/issues to...
My normal internet speed 1 hour to 2 hours before the problem starts:
It is nothing to do with my so called "powerlevels", to be really honest I think it is to do with my local area / local town developing over-utilisation and becoming oversubscribed.
My connection between 2:30am onwards...
Hey guys,
What's the rate of getting a bad internet service with BT Infinity? Me and my family are looking into switching to BT Infinity if we continue to get speeds like this on a Virgin 70Mbps connection:
I'm just worried about switching and then ending up with an equally as bad internet...
This is ridiculous now - for a week running, I'm pretty much experiencing the same problems/issues with my 70Mbps BB which was stable a few weeks ago.
3pm / 4pm until 1am / 2am speed in Burnley Area Reference 20.
Well... I spoke to soon about my stable connection. Lately, in the past week I've been having my 70Mbps connection slow down to 10Mbps and even as low as 5Mbps and 3Mbps, with my ping/latency also slowing down as well as that. It's mainly happening late in the afternoon, heading into the evening...
Anyone who lives in Area Reference 20 or close to Manchester (or even other parts of the UK) having problems/issues with speedtest.net lately? Using Chrome? (or even any other web browser at that, such as Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc?)
The ping test before the actual speedtest takes ages to...
I did see it, lol. :p I was just very tired and half asleep, haha. Sorry for that. :o :D
I'm lucky I still have the Superhub 1 (which is hands down the best and most stable modem/router combination hub in my opinion, apart from the wireless. -_- ). I'd be quite literally tearing my hair...
