Yes mate that is the case. I have not considered an AIO,but if I do then I think I will have to invest in a new case. I will look at some different cases and hopefully the budget will allow it !

Fixed the issue with AHCI not working,just had to boot win 8 into safe mode for windows to reinstall the driver. Now I just need to sort the memory out :)

One more problem I have now is that when I enable AHCI mode win 8 keeps rebooting but when I change it back to IDE it starts up okay.I enabled AHCI when I installed win 8. Before today AHCI was working no problem.

Just an update I have tried setting 1.370v and 1.390v and it still reboots so will have to try a BIOS update at some point.
