yeh i think so too, there will always be expensive screens, hdr was, next maybe the thinner ones & 5k, but i dont think 4k 120hz will have to be expensive
in a few years 120hz 4k will be pretty cheap
so i dont see why people cant have both
maybe gfx cards might slow down if there isnt competition but displays should keep going
ARK is pretty impossible to test
i play on a RP server and loading in all the buildings lags like hell
that test was a empty server with nothing
ARK does strain the gpu pretty huge tho, where as overwatch is the other way around and its a cpu limit for me i think
what happens when you a gamer that wants to try some streaming & the 4core isnt enough, like me you end up having another pc just to stream it
which isnt the worst solution but its expensive if u dont just have another pc and takes up a lot more space
im thinking of doing a build with the silver msi board
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-x370-xpower-gaming-titanium-amd-x370-socket-am4-ddr4-atx-motherboard-mb-322-ms.html
any1 here lucky enough to try it out?
ye i honestly cant agree with them flat out saying 7700k is the best gaming chip because it depends how you game!?
and its pretty annoying when they think they all smart so i cant watch them all!
did you see any testing out streaming while gaming? thats uhhh pretty normal right now
the ones i...
one thing i read on ryzen is its designed so it can have a smaller chipset (duno if thats the right word)
meaning itx and smaller boards, like almost nuc sized? im not sure but that would be amazing
i think thats possible why not
i saw way more stutter on the 4core cpu video, but the cpu wasnt even hitting 100% on any of its cores so why is it stuttering...
6850k? yeh i think that would be interesting
i guess it comes down to how well windows handles them cores and maybe even memory speed might come into it more i have no idea
unless i limit fps hard i know my 4790k cant handle it
at least on some games..
well 720p is a little extreme but 1080p with a lot of lame stuff turned off is very common, to cap the fps and know you have some overhead & at least 5 things running in the background >.<
things in the background use both gpu and cpu so you dont want either running at 100% if you want it smooth
yeh its interesting
the run it at high res thing just sounds really bad
if AMD wanted the cpu to be seen in good light they should have asked some tests been done when streaming or multitasking
people looking at a 8core would be looking at them to do that!
instead of "make it look less bad" it...
