What did you do to your bike today?

Just read this and wondered what a loobman was, a little googling later, and I have just bought myself one. Wanted a scottoiler for ages, but couldn't pay that much to basically admit I'm too lazy to oil my chain. 300 miles a week though, so it's going to get some use! Just chuck some 10/40...

What did you do to your bike today?

I am experiencing the same - my 2nd winter commuting on my ybr125, and have only put a neck warmer on a handful of times so far, not even got thermal lining in trousers yet! Had my waterproofs on pretty much since July though, so they probably help keep me warm.

What Do You Do On Weekends?

Ok, plenty of ideas here then, I knew you lot weren't as bad as I've been told! Shooting/airsoft, dog walking, national trust and maybe gym are fave so far. I like the St Johns idea too, might have a good look into that, had a fundraiser knock the door on the weekend and had a good chat with...

What Do You Do On Weekends?

Might be a bit of a strange one, but I am currently bored on weekends. My background - I am 26, happily married with two dogs, no friends living by (Bridgend, South Wales) and am just about to do my motorbike license, I work a Monday - Friday 9 - 5 job with an hour commute each side. I...

    Putting in for test/training

That was a brilliant reply ttaskmaster - thank you!! I have been practising my slow speed stuff when I get to work, and am slowly getting more comfortable with it all - trying it in traffic too, and it is so much easier - like you said, most cars just ride their clutch, and its hard to keep up...

    Putting in for test/training

I can go kinda slow in traffic already, but find myself wobbling the handlebars quite a bit - guessing this is cos I dont use the clutch properly? Been researching youtube vids too, really wanted to go out today and practice, but I couldnt be bothered trying to dry my gear off before tomorrow's...

    Putting in for test/training

Glad I made this thread now, getting some good tips here - thank you all. I will just pootle around my works car park every morning and do some more advanced techniques on the weekends in bigger car parks. Similar to you IC3 - I have learned my lesson when considering low speed front braking...

    Putting in for test/training

Would it be worth practicing on my little bike like IC3 said? - I can see the benefits for sure, but just how different is it all on a "big bike"? I have started practicing going as slow as possible in works car park when I get there in the morning, so hopefully that will help. How exactly do...

    Putting in for test/training

Loving the help so far, thanks guys. I havent long had to sit my cbt again - long, boring story. But the second time I done it, it was a breeze. Sounds like mod 1 and 2 are just a beefed up version on a bigger bike?

    Putting in for test/training

I am quite excited, after commuting 5 days a week, 60 miles a day on a 125 for the past year, I am finally in a position to do my proper license! Theory test booked for 22nd August, and sent off to some local schools for a few days training that same week. Will see where I go from there...

Spec me a seat that doesnt cut me in half

After just going out for my first ride in 10 months, I managed to go 20 miles on road bike, nice easy, flat route. However, my bottom end is absolutely ruined. Just purchased a charge spoon off wiggle for £20 - gotta be worth a go. Replacing a specialized riva, which is pretty darn firm...

Anyone Been Mountain Biking in France?

My mate in work goes every single year, he goes to a resort in/near the alps as there are a number of places that have actual off road mountain bike downhill tracks around there. If that's what your after? I think they use the ski lifts to get to the top at some of them, and ride down like...

    *** League of Legends ***

I know what you mean mate, I was so glad when they released the team builder option! I am a new level 30, but am keen to play with someone on a regular basis as I am trying to play support main, so it would be good to play with a constant ADC if you wanted to? I play about 2 or 3 games...

    *** League of Legends ***

I do this, but I dont select any ping (slide you mention). I have G and V mapped to my side mouse buttons, if you just press G and dont select a ping, it will do the "defend" option when you click a tower, pressing just V will give a "I'm falling back from" option on a tower. TL:DR - press...

Strangely enough, my wife just done the reverse - she has just finished playing the 3 dragon age games, logging 300+ hours on inquisition!! :-O She was after something similar, so she is now playing mass effect trilogy, and loving them. TL;DR - Play the Dragon Age games :)
