    Camping Newbies - Sky TV?

This, as much as I love tech, if you go camping you should enjoy the company of others and just chill. However you probably do not care what we think, I found this site and you can pick what tripod etc, or for a cheap n cheerful one go on the bay.

    Guild Wars 2

I think the graphics are good enough, it can't be too intense or I will not run on the average joe pc.

    Problem with first build

That is really kind of you, but I think that would surely be too much hassle. I think I am going to have to buy a £26 celeron processor and update and use a spare lol!

    Problem with first build

*facepalm* Trouble is, the mobo was bought over 28 days ago, I just didn't open it because I waited for ivy. They really shouldn't have '22nm ready' on the box if it doesn't support ivy out the box???

    Problem with first build

Still will not work!!!! Set the bugger up outside the case and just cuts out every 2 seconds still. Is anyone able to confirm the ram I have is supported by the MOBO? The MOBO is ivybridge ready so that shouldn't be a problem either? Does this light only go on if its a ram problem too? Or...

    Problem with first build

Ok problem with my first build, just put my 3570k into pc, and on my MOBO it shows the red DRAM light and wont post. It repeatedly turns itself on and off again every couple of seconds, however if I remove my RAM sticks it will stay on longer but still not post. I have tried swapping the sticks...

I hope I haven't started an argument! I will just buy win7, I thought it wouldn't be such a problem just using linux for a short while. Thank you all for your replies though.

    Sell me linux

In my line of work I can get windows 7 directly from microsoft cheaper than retail, but I have a tight budget and will not be buying it for another month or so, so I am thinking of using a linux OS. PC specs will be, 8GB ram, i5 3570k, 500GB HDD. As far as I know linux isn't great for...

IVY BRIDGE upgrade to the next CPU?

Ivy fits in 22nm compatible motherboards, some sandy MOBOs fit ivy in but we need to know the one you have first.

    *****Official Ivybridge Review Thread*****

I have been without a pc for so long now, and the last week has nearly killed me!!! Can't wait to jump to a 4.2ghz ivy and 8GB ram instead of this 1.5ghz 1GB laptop :P

    PC for £350-£400

There are the pros that can spec things a lot better than myself but this is the cost of an i3 build. You can save a slight bit of money on the case (not much) but this has a window if you want to pimp it out at a later date. YOUR BASKET 1 x Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket...
