I have purchased and returned the same card for the same reason, the noise is more like vibration, if you squeeze the fan shroud between youre fingers you will hear the pitch of the noise change, the dual fan variant is however silent (im running one right now!)

Setup was a breeze, just picked sky and put in a random username/password in the option 61 box I also decided to puse the mac address of the q hub just incase it helps (it wont hurt) synced up at 79999/20000 which is the same as the q hub but im getting far better wifi and gamestream performance.

Thank you for the reply mate. I wouldn't mind if the sync speed was less with the nighthawk we are on an 80/20 line and don't require so much speed it's mainly the dreadful WiFi performance of the Q hub and how badly it deals with my local gamestream setup. I didn't want to create a double NAT...

14.11.1 is an excellent driver mate, haven't had any issues with it yet. Before installing it my personal recommendation would be to use DDU to clean out the old driver and do a fresh install, never had a problem doing drivers this way. http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/

You should be ok with that PSU mate, some people might say otherwise but I would trust it.

I gained going from a 7950 crossfire setup to a SINGLE overclocked 290. From 7950 (overclocked or not) to 290 you will see a good improvement in performance.

I haven't had an amd driver issue since the very first 290 drivers, these seem just like the 14.6 rc1 i was using previously.

Their are some review links on the silverstone website although none are in English. I've ordered one anyway it should arrive tomorrow I'l post back my thoughts, having recently owned the raven rv02, air 540 and 250d it should be an interesting comparison.

I've had a few cases since my rv02 but nothing compares to the cooling/noise performance of the 90 degree design so I might just go for this case. I'm not going crazy but do you guys reckon an itx motherboard will fit into the rv05? Usually itx boards fit in atx cases as they use the first 4...

For the cards you have in your sig 80 would be my limit too! For a 290 its very different they will happily run at 92c all day long if needed their limit is 95c although the custom cooled ones should obviously be under that.

A great long since gone shop where I'm from used to hold lan events, you could bring your own rig or.use some they setup, they just used to rent a function room at a hotel for a weekend which helped if people were travelling from far away, this was back in 2000 era when we all used to be playing...
