I agree with everything you said except I'd say WC/WD as most not all monitors are 8-bit displays rather than 10. Will still look amazing regardless I've done my best to get the 10 bit panel in the 3 monitors I ordered. But nothing is a guarantee until you have it working as intended, should be...
Even with import fees included you're going to be making a huge saving at least if you get what you want and it performs as wanted. I'm after a 10 bit 27'' with hopefully no sound issues (when in use) and as few dead pixels as possible I can deal with 3-4 on that type of screen size any more and...
Winning the lottery solves 1 issue and that's worry about money/how much something costs.
Still the same person with the same issues bar problems bar that.
I'd probably tell nobody and just come up with some online success story to explain my spending habits to family and co. I think...
Nice, have been reading some user reviews, some are happy with it but the price point kind of lets a few issues slide I think. Some people make a good point about warranty though 3 years cover vs a sketchy guarantee but the savings are around £130 if you get hit with import tax and even more if...
And I was thinking of getting a Dell U3011 why not just buy 3 of these bad boys for slightly more
Will need to look into it a little bit but that's what I'll probably end up doing.
Could do but I'll take review/user opinion on here over a 1st hand experience as I'm currently using a 1680x1050 monitor from 2007 so any choice I end up making I'll be happy with. Not sure if I want to go all out a 3 24'' Monitors + Monitor stand to get my ideal set up knowing I could have gone...
I was the same at that age and well let's just say I did terribly, I literally did no revision, played video games most of the day and put in about a couple of hours revision before the exams. I passed 4 subjects somehow managing 2b's and 2 C's the rest were all D grades. (Not good enough for me...
I was thinking the same thing but for the 1st few weeks it must be so
and that's what I'm sold on at the moment just so different to anything I've considered setting up before. The higher res monitor seems the smart choice but it's around the same price although gaming performance...
Yeah I thought as much, if I just go with the 2d set up could I max out a majority of currently available games ? as I'm torn between 3 monitors or a 27'' 1440/1660p atm more than I am a 120hz monitor at 1080p.
Think I'll need to look into way more than anticipated.
So I have a minor conundrum I've just bought my PC and I'll be running the GTX 680 in SLI, should I go with a 120hz 1080p Monitor at 24'' or a 27'' Monitor at 2560x1440/2560x1600 and last but not least do I go with a multi monitor set up with 3d vision surround.
Would the GTX 680's in SLI...
Yeah I'll wait until my PC comes in during the week before ordering them but still tempting for me nonetheless if I find the supplied fans an annoyance.
Guess I'll have to wait and see then. Just last time I built a PC it was a noisy bugger don't want the same issues this time round.

these were the fans used in the below video

I'll probably end up getting them to be honest as I want the rig as quiet as possible.
