I ordered my Zotac and waterblock 2 days ago but it hasn't been shipped yet. Both were in stock on the site so I assumed it would be sent out asap - is this because of workload at the moment? I'd have thought with all the shortages OCUK wouldn't have anything to send :p

I think I'm just not going to bother ordering anything until I know when I'm getting it. It's why I didn't order at the start because this was a huge clusterf***. I have a WC system and as long as there's an EK block for it and the card isn't terrible, then I don't even care which one I get...

I'm just gonna wait for @Gibbo to update the stock thread on 3080s. I don't really care which one I get as I'll be WC'ing (as long as there's a block that fits). Just the waiting :eek:

I am definitely going to be getting a 3000 series, but 3080 or 3090 and FE vs one of the others will depend on both reviews and what boards the EK blocks will fit on.

If the 3080 is ~£650ish, the 3090 is £1400ish, and assuming the 3080Ti sits in the middle at £1000, if you lost like £150 on your 3080, you've spent a total of £1150, which might not be that far off a 3090 to be honest though right? Or maybe I'm being a bit blasé about the other ~£250ish or have...

Considering the FE pricing is announced, the other cards I can't see changing too much.

Yeah, I'm not going to speculate until some actual evidence comes along. All I'm going to say is I'd find it slightly strange if one of the biggest desktop PC GPU manufacturers in the world didn't have one person raise this as a concern.

Ah right I see yes. I'm still not sure anyone answered my original question of it I'm custom WC'ing, should I get the FE as it's basically ref or get one of the others from here? I suppose it rests on whether the boards are the same?

Can someone explain what the FE notation means? Is it simply "I got this card direct from them first". And it's basically a reference card? If I'm going to custom WC mine at a later date, probably with an EK block, am I better off simply going for a FE, or going for one of the others...

Don't post much around here. Just bought a 2070S about 6 months ago as my 980Ti was struggling with 4K multiboxed EVE online. Planning to play New World and Cyberpunk at 144Hz, so having been a long time since I bought the 'top' cards, I am debating getting the 3090.

Only game my 2GB 680 struggles with VRAM wise in surround is BF3, turn down AO and turn off Aero and it's fine.
