The question is whether you have to rely on Telegram (or the like) top spend so much time actually trying to get a 4070 FE, the price means little if you cannot get one. Although it looks like FE cards are hanging around longer (the 4080 is in stock - but at that price I guess it would be).
Looks like there’s still stock. I guess minimal demand when you can buy from stock a non FE card for the same price (£1599). Although you can buy family hatchback for that price too !
I have the same Motherboard and CPU and got a GTX1660 Super a few years ago (to replace my old GTX670 and was really happy with the update. Can’t comment on case space though.

Just got a LG27GP850 and really happy with it. Plus ports are really accessible and settings are straight forward to use. Pretty well set up out of the box - just a few tweaks were needed.
I just got a https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lg-27-27gp850-b-2560x1440-nano-ips-165hz-1ms-freesync-g-sync-compatible-widescreen-gaming-monitor-mo-169-lg.html, and after playing with the settings I am really happy with it.
I then also ordered the larger ...
I'm a 53 year old gamer, although due to life stuff I get less time than I used to.
I started with a ZX80 when I was just into double figures, and then have been on the usual various computer journey.
I tend to focus on RTS games, of recent years I have put good ours in Transport Fever and Dyson...
It sounds great - and clearly it sounds like an excellent screen. Looked at things again after your mail and due to how close I would be to the screen I am a bit more comfortable with how it felt. The suggestion of going 4k and scaling down to 1440p when needed is a very good idea. It might be I...
Yeah - saw that video and many more, will check this one again as I thought I was there. Thanks.
I think 42" would be just too big for me, I can see it is 4k too. What GPU do you have ?
Thanks
I've just got this monitor and I will try some of these settings out, I have also downloaded a colour profile from RTINGs which apparently is pretty good.

As in my other post I am deliberating if I keep the...
So my LG 27GP850 monitor arrived today - which I am ‘trying out’ before I order a 4070TI build. I have gone from a 24” 1080p (used with a 1660 super). Trying to get my head around if I will send it back and go bigger (I read 27” is the sweet spot for 1440p but am now too sure myself). Also since...

So I have at last starting the ordering process - and have ordered my monitor (I ended up going for an LG 27GP850 - and got an price considering stock is so low everywhere). New PC excitement is gripping - which is maybe a bit late in the day for someone in their 50's.
I now want to commit to...
Thanks for the feedback all, I have updated the build as follows (and I am aware that I can pick up some items elsewhere cheaper).
I do want to go down the Intel route.
I would appreciate if anyone could point out any potential issues with the build, thanks .
And I am working towards an...
I've got my eye on the £799 model - I can see in the range from £799 to £859 that there are 6 cards. From experience here is there model amongst them it is felt I would be better off going for in terms of reliability and support (the 6 are Inno3D(x2)/Gainward/Zotac/Palet/Asus). The Zotac stands...
Not that it is something I am into today, but in the future as this is not a K CPU can it be overclocked ? and good advise reference the mobo. Even if I stay with the Asus prime I can see that I can go for...
