The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

I won't be dragged into a silly debate about drug use, he took a single drag of a joint on a podcast, mostly just as a bit of fun. The hysterical reaction from apparently intelligent adults is honestly embarassing. The Whiskey he consumed would've had far more noticable effects than a single...

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Okay, so no actual counter argument then. Marijuana is legal in California. They didn't "nearly lose their government contracts", NASA ordered same safety review because they need to appease crazy and hysterical politically motivated weirdos

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

This seems to be more like a "I don't like a demanding work environment, my job is easier when he's not around the place". I get it, everyone likes it when their boss is on holiday, but this doesn't disprove me saying he's driven a lot of success at SpaceX. He is no doubt extremely demanding, I...

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

I think the criticism of Tesla using a camera instead of lidar is fair enough, but SpaceX isn't doing good work "despite him", he's been personally involved in driving a lot of the success at that company. No one in that industry would say otherwise.

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

He said 10-20 years in 2011, so surely he has until 2031? Maybe maths isn't your strong point? You realise, designing, building, and testing rockets is actually the beginning of a manned mission to Mars, right? I think 2026 is ambitious, but it's still 2024, and you're typing "Deadline...

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

I said where people choose to follow him. Liar.

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

His reach, i.e. him being on your timeline, is a result of people organically choosing to follow him and like and retweet his posts. Do you have any evidence he's "promoting at a whim" posts to your timeline from other accounts? Why do you think he's doing that?

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

These people are so deranged, what in the actual hell. The phrasing on the question, such venom and vitriol.

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Yeah welcome to online media in 2024 then. I see plenty of rubbish online I'd rather not see and have no interest in.

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

I think a key difference is that everyone was forced to follow Tom on MySpace by default, that isn't actually the case with Elon Musk. Everyone has to voluntarily click to follow. So what we have is a man who has a wide reach because people chose to give him that reach, who uses his platform to...

The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Elon consistently using words like "probably", "looking likely", "I predict", etc. Video title: ELON MUSK PROMISING TESLA ROBOTAXIS NEXT YEAR. I feel like I'm the only person who actually listens to the words people use.

    Tate Brothers - Round 2

Was this clip supposed to contain him saying "he loved raping" someone?

    Tate Brothers - Round 2

He comments on all sorts of political issues on shows like Piers Morgan, he has a large Twitter following where he comments on a large array of subjects. He's become an anti-establishment figure, so the establishment is using the tools they have at their disposal to attack him. I mean sure...

    Tate Brothers - Round 2

The only purpose of charges like these are a character attack. It seems we're now finding crimes to charge people with based on what they say online, if Andrew Tate was just a regular UK citizen who'd moved abroad these charges would not have been dug up, therefore these charges are politically...

Do you charge your children "keep" or rent? Do/did you pay it yourself?

I was speaking in a more general sense at the derisory tone taken towards traditional gender roles, the general direction of "progressive" culture; which seems to be headed in the amalgamation of women and mens roles by attacking anything and anyone masculine and pushing every woman to be a...

Do you charge your children "keep" or rent? Do/did you pay it yourself?

These traditional gender roles are the same one's exclusively adopted by every single generation of humans that have ever existed, the arrogance and stupidity that we should just say 'men and women are exactly the same', and disregard them like they're some offensive racial slur is mental. It's...

So err, What’s Happened to the Princess of Wales?

The issues with her photo were one's that would happen if you had AI create an image, so she's saying she used AI to manipulate her own photo? Makes no sense.
