    Database Design/SQL Editor Tool

Hi there, I did some search and the only thing that found is SQLEditor which for $69 is rather expensive. All I need is to be able to model database entities (tables, views) in entity diagrams and import/export SQL for them. (SQLEditor is doing this, though it can't handle views) It doesn't...

    Linksys WAG354G and Macbook

Does anyone have this specific ADSL modem/router? Are there any incompatibility issues with the Macbook in terms of the WiFi? Can you use either WEP or WPA encryption? Are you overall satisfied with it? Thanks in advance for your response :)

Shuttle owners, possible to replace chipset fan with zalman heatsink?

Running a SB61G2 with a blue one for almost 2 years. I have however disabled the onboard gfx card.

    MacBook Woes

Check out what Paul Stamatiou has to say in his blog. Yay, My MacBook Randomly Shuts Down It seems that the heatsink is the problem.

    mac mini + tv-out

Knowing that the mac mini has only one dvi output, is it in anyway possible to connect both to a TFT monitor and a CRT TV that supports s-video? If yes, then how does it work? As a windows user I know that you can have different desktop modes (e.g. extended, clone). Is it possible to watch a...

    Have Shuttle lost the plot?

Its true...I bought a SB61G2 over 2 1/2 yrs ago and so far I've been very pleased with it. However, looking ahead on what my next "PC" would be, I'm more tempted towards a "Mac mini" really. Seeing as Shuttle, like you say, are starting to lose their touch it does look a better deal for me...

    Graphics card recommendations for SS56Gv3

Youn can check out some of Gigabyte's. A Radeon 9600 Pro or a nVidia 6600 Both do 1920x1200. The first one costs around ~50 quid but hard to find brand new, the second one is around ~100. There is also the ATi X1300 which costs around ~75 but personally I don't believe is of great...

    Radeon 9600 Pro + TV-OUT

I just got a Gigabyte 9600 Pro and I can't properly setup the tv-out. It will either be squished vertically, or streched if I use the option to scale to full screen. Although when I boot up the PC I can see the output on my TV, when in Windows I have to check the 'force TV detection' in...

AGP passive cooled cards - which one

Hey sare^baw's, is it a Shuttle htpc you got? I'm interested in modding a X1600 with the Zalman VF900 to fit my Shuttle SB61G2. Let us know how it goes and if its worth it :D

    Gigabyte 9600 Pro 256Mb -Passive-

Has anyone installed this card on his Shuttle box? (SB61G2 preferable) I'm tempted to buy one of these although OcUK doesn't stock them... :(

    OCUK ending their shuttle contract?

It is really sad indeed if Shuttle behaves like this. I have a SB61G2 and so far I can only say good things about it, of course I have never been involved with RMA for that matter. If there are other barebones of similar quality as Shuttle ones I'm glad to hear them. I really like Shuttle...

    Socket 478 SFF?!

Its been over 2 1/2 years when I bought my SB61G2 and it still amazes me. It's based around the i865 chipset and has 5.1 sound, SATA interface and an onboard gfx card with an AGP and a PCI to suit an enthusiast's needs. I have replaced the chipset fan with a passive heatsink and is quiet...

    SB61G2 SATA and IDE usage.

I have that specific model and although I haven't used IDE for a second hard drive, I believe there should be no problem supporting both a SATA and an IDE drive. I am not aware of any limitations and on the BIOS there is a SATA option to enable both IDE and SATA in "combined" mode I believe.

Is there a way to check that the Hyundai Q17 I get has the Samsung 12 response time screen rather the AU Optronics 16 one? -edited- Just read the updated FAQ. One more thing...Does it come with a wall stand or do I have to buy one? Where can I find it and how easy is it to mount it on the...
