Kept getting the WhatsApp notifications about the issue but didn’t notice anything on mine, just checked TBB and nothing at all. Been with Aquiss since August and they’ve been fantastic so far.
Could that also be an issue with Dolby Vision profiles? There always seems to be issues with standalone media players and which DV profiles they will support.

it took a few hours for them to reply and start the conversation but at least there was no waiting on hold or staring at a live chat screen :)
I cancelled my VM on WhatsApp. Much less hassle. They gave me one offer which was worse than my current deal an then processed the cancellation. Had all the confirmation emails for it later that day an have had about 15 -20 calls (since the 9th) so far that I’ve ignored from them.
I’ve just had an install through Aquiss. Not sure if it’s a different process for an install from a pole compared to underground but the guy ran the cable from the pole to the house and installed it inside at the same. Took about an hour an half or so.
Thanks Chris, sent a message to Aquiss as well an they advised installs from 1st week of Aug. Back in March they were advising 4-5 weeks so just wanted to check.
Has anyone had an install done recently? just wondering what the rough lead time is. My virgin contract is up at the beginning of Sept and don’t want to cancel that and then order fttp only to find out there’s a 5-6 week wait. Thanks
I’ve moved all my hive gear over to z2m. Only thing I had a problem with was a window/door sensor. It would add ok and work but then randomly not work every now an again and in z2m it never seemed to fully complete the interview process no matter how many times it was re-added.
With the hive...
I used the number someone posted in this thread. 0800 952 2277. Didn’t even need to haggle, just asked what best price would be for 500mb as I was out of contract. No waiting for callbacks etc.
My most recent renewal a month or so back was m500 for £36. Got a 5gb o2 sim through uswitch for £6 a month.
Took a week or so to activate volt benefits and a new hub being sent, but now on gig1 and a 10gb sim for £42.
In the exact same position here. Contacted Openreach through twitter and they escalated, all they did was enable my address so it shows on all the checkers as being able to order it, but no one else in the street can!
Can only assume if I did order that they'd come across a major issue in there...
All the roads surrounding my cul-de-sac have all had the poles upgraded in the last couple of weeks and are already showing on the Fibre First checker as FTTP available. The pole in our cul-de-sac hasn't been touched, so no FTTP here yet :(
You could look at swapping the pedals around physically. At the very least maybe swap the spring and rubber from brake pedal to the clutch pedal.
I've installed the GTEYE mod on mine an it's really easy to swap things around.
The Thermostat is wireless an can be moved wherever you want it (battery powered).
You have a receiver that is hardwired to the boiler.
The hub you keep close to your router for ethernet connection. Unless you buy the hub 360 which can be connect over WiFi instead of ethernet.
Hopefully only in the early game. Noticed a few things in the private to open beta patch notes like:
- Decreased likelihood of early game Hyena NPCs from flanking the player.
Hopefully the AI will ramp up as the game progresses and not just soak up more bullets.
