**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S21 Family Thread ****

I spoke to someone on chat through the Samsung website who said it does come with a screen protector... Mine is apparently coming tomorrow so will be able to confirm then

Laying laminate plank flooring. The thin end isn't great

Looks like the design as others have said. However there should not be a gap all the way through to the floor (if that's the case, can't see it in the picture) , just at the top due to the bevel. Not sure how you're doing it but put the long end in on its angle, about an inch or so gap from the...

    The Tesla Thread

Thanks for everyone's replies. Quality control does seem to be an issue... Unfortunately makes it very hard to decide!

    The Tesla Thread

Yeah, panel alignment issues and that would be more inconvenience than anything. As it'll all be their responsibility to sort. Main concern is around longer term paint issues... Reading online makes it seem like you just look at the paint and it'll scratch :D , but it's hard to tell whether...

    The Tesla Thread

Hi all. I'm considering getting a long range model 3 as a lease through work... However I've read quite a lot of issues around quality (paint, panel gaps etc.) With it being a lease I of course have to give it back at the end of the term and will be charged for any damage beyond what they...

How difficult is it to install - Laminate flooring

I used wickes laminate. Decent enough and reasonable price. As far as how difficult it will be... Will depend on a few things. How square the room is, how straight the walls are, how level the floor is, how many doorways, how many things to cut around. Skirting board the same... Might need to...

Most useful DIY gear for £20-25?

I'd recommend something like this if able to pay a bit more or shop around. Not the finest quality but has something for most jobs, some of which you may only use once or twice but comes in handy for those occasions. Then he can buy more expensive stuff as and when needed, when a better quality...

What is this, some kind of Gurhka tobacco?

How are you finding the beam and play 1 setup? I might be tempted myself ... Have a beam and one play one already :D

    Huawei p30

I'm quite happy overall. Battery and day to day use has been great. In regards to the camera... I don't take loads of photos, but do like to when I'm out and about. I'm by no means anything more than your average person when it comes to photo taking skills/knowledge. Overall, I'd say I'm...

    Huawei p30

The x50 zoom is impressive. Not the greatest quality, but impressive that it can do it. I'd be curious how it'll look using a phone mount. Yeah only in portrait mode for me it seems. Guessing a software update will sort that. I've not noticed the hollow feel, but I've had a case on since...

    Huawei p30

I'm finding the fingerprint scanner pretty good. It does seem to struggle if your thumb/finger or the screen is a little dirty though. Definitely not as good as the capacitive one on my previous P10 Plus, but I don't have any frustration with it. It somehow manages to see more than my eyes...

    Huawei p30

I hope curved screens stop being a thing. No worthwhile benefits to them in my opinion! I am having no problems with software so far, however it is early days as I had to exchange mine due to a defect out of the box. Probably not quite as nice as Samsung, but no issues for me that would put me...

    Huawei p30

Early days yet, but initial impressions are good. Fingerprint scanner is a little slower than the p10 plus, but seems very accurate. Finger placement takes some getting used to. Haven't had much chance to test the camera yet. Battery seems great. 53% left with 19 hours off charge and 4.5...

    Huawei p30

Picked mine up today. Didn't get any contact until I spoke on love chat to Vodafone... They said it's with DPD. Literally about a minute later had a email saying its ready to be collected from store! In work and then away tonight though, so no time to open the box until tomorrow sadly!
