**THIS WEEK ONLY: MAKING TABLETS IMPOSSIBLE TO RESIST!!**

Also interested in the POV 945. How is the flash memory partitioned? Is it 1G apps and rest for files like most android tablets, or is it one partition, like Nexus 7/10 are?

    Need help on CSS

I can't remember the technical term, but i think its something like margin inheritance or cascade. The margins on the paragraph at the end of your content, just above the footer is being inherited by the content div instead. i usually do something like: p {margin:0;padding:1em 0;} This...

I saw my 12v channel go up .2v when i plugged in the molex, and i have a single 7800GT.

I have been trying to improve my overclock, but it seems my cpu won't go above around 2.5GHz :( 252x10 wouldn't complete 3dm2005 (though strangely 2003 and 2001 were fine - its not my graphics because they run very cool at about 40-50c). I tried changing the memory divider to confirm it...

Whats too high for the chipset temperatures? according to speedfan, and the bios seems to agree, under load it can reach 53c. I think my PWM was about 5c lower which seems fine. This is at 245 fsb now though :D I think i should manage my cables better, you can barely see the chipset, so i...

You use the ones with the huge heads, to hold onto the silcon grommets. The upper drive cage uses pull out trays - you screw the drive into the cage using the holes underneath the drive, not the standard side mounting.

OK, the marvell controller now works, but it was running stupidly slow for some reason. So i went back to the nvidia controller. I have started overclocking, and i am already at 2450Mhz - 450Mhz on top, with an X2 cpu - not bad ! The cpu is always around 48/49c, but the chipset(might be PWM)...

Yeah, ive been there for the last hour. Luckily it is rare that neither work, but usually there is a problem with one or the other. One post indicates this being a problem with the cd drivers - i have downloaded official marvell ones but could not install them due to lack of network (only got...

    Antec P180 Owners Thread

I just built one today using the 530W Tagan modular, and the cables were long enough. I installed it upsidedown for maximum length. The modular nature makes it easier to route the cables. The Molex ones for the dvd-r at the top of the case were a bit of a stretch but it did make it. The 24Pin...

This is a great thread for information, so hopefully you can help me. I have just built a system based on the SLI-D, and though it is working perfectly, the marvell network controller won't connect. Windows says it is installed correctly (used the cd drivers - DFIs site is playing up) but...

3dmark03 is mostly a graphics benchmark, 2001 a system benchmark. Probably because the people that overclock pros to xt speeds tend to overclock their bus speed further which has a much larger effect on 01 than having an extra 128mb of graphics memory. As for artifacts, it is well known...

ive now taken the case sides off and put an 80mm fan next to the graphics card, but i stil can't make it near your scores - just 6463. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=2381917 2001 score barely changed so i won't bother changing it. Short of some new £160 memory, i don't see how...

    Noobie review of Hitachi LCD

thanks for clearing that up i knew there was a reason why 75hz would be better cheers for confirming the colours as for refresh rates, hitachi does support 75hz - i just checked out the horizontal and vertical refresh rates and set my crt to them at 1280x1024 and it is spot on 75hz. The...

yes you can just because lcds do not work in the same way does not mean that the refresh rate in unchangable. i know they do not flicker, but people have solved ghosting in games by upping from 60hz to 75.

    Noobie review of Hitachi LCD

im interested.... I am seriously considering a lcd for christmas. I can get a 171p for about £50 more than i can get the hitachi, but the 171p has one advantage - it can rotate whereas the hitachi can't Otherwise, it is clear that the hitachi is superior, particually for games. Ive analysed...
