£400 isnt max I could stretch a couple of hundred pounds , but was thinking that when PS5 etc come out that ray tracing will become more of a thing so thats what puts me off the 1080ti, maybe i will just wait and see what these super cards bring to the table, hopefully maybe get a 2080 cheaper...

Are you suggesting the Vega 64 because i have free sync? im sure it doesnt matter due to nvidia having new drivers or something or is that the best card? how would i compare to a 1080ti?

problem solved i had my gpu in the bottom pcie slot for aesthetics and i moved it to the middle one and it worked

ok still get 20fps on origin too

downloaded the update and its still the same. im going to try origin as thats still on my HDD

downloading update now was dated for 2011
