    Trip to Rarotonga, Cook Islands?

I visited Rarotonga February 2019 for 16 days. Fantastic place. An absolute paradise island. We spent 50% of our time snorkeling / on the beach, and the other walking, exploring, etc. There's loads of amazing hikes, snorkeling is breathe taking and water is like a warm bath (really, the warmest...

Thailand - where's good destination for a couple?

Not much of a poster, but logged in to add my two cents. Bangkok is an incredible experience but as others have mentioned, impossible to do it justice in two days. However, it will give you enough of a glimpse to determine if you'd want to go back to do it properly. Beach destination...

Anyone been to Krabi Thailand ?

I've recently done a 3 month stint around Thailand and further afield. It completely depends on what you're wanting to get out of the holiday, as different areas of Thailand offer entirely different experiences. I would strongly suggest splitting the holiday into two; one week for exploring...

Picked up something new - and it's not British!

40mpg average is really impressive. Best I've ever seen out of my Mk2 is 34mpg, averaging around the 24-30 mark. Be interesting to see some 4th gear WOT runs.

What have you done to your car today?

Nothing too major, just several pot-holes along my un-lit lane which used to catch me out every now and again. Admittedly, the rears were only minor and nothing a few extra balancing weights couldn't rectify... just wanted to piece of mind knowing they were all sound really :)

What have you done to your car today?

On the topic of 3 MPS, I did this to my front N/S... All four alloys were found to be buckled with the front two being beyond repair. Decided against having them repaired and purchased a new set, and had them re-furbished.

    Show Us Your Motors!

Noticed quite a bit of Mazda 3 attention, figured I would throw mine into the mix, complete with black alloys, wind deflectors & a CF aerial to top it off; *** Please use spolier tags for large images *** - Will Gill

    Construction/Sustainability Dissertation - Questionnaire Help

Oh right, that was actually my second choice, basing my dissertation around the 2018 changes to Part L, and the new minimum EPC rating for commercial property... Definitely an interesting and up-and-coming area!

    Construction/Sustainability Dissertation - Questionnaire Help

Hi there, I am currently in the process of writing a dissertation on the implications the 2016 Zero Carbon Homes target will have upon the construction industry. If there any construction professionals out there who could spare just a few moments to have a look at my questionnaire, and if...

    Spec me a company car!

I agree, but I'm convinced my limited budget won't stretch that far... Especially after a few extra's, sat nav etc! I will definitely ask for a quote, but I'm sure I have no chance :( Any "lower end" recommendations? The likes of the Mondeo st seem to tick the boxes, just it's... a Ford...

    Spec me a company car!

This is just an approximate value; the car will be leased, through the use of an in-house leasing firm... But I have been advised that I'm looking in the £25-30k range. "greeny93" would be my sons user, whose sat next to me & advised I ask on here... I've just turned 40. I'd love one; over...

    Storage upgrade route options?

Thanks again for the replies :) Last question - If I were to get another identicle SSD, and were to run them in raid 0 without any other form of backup/secondary drive, how risky/advisable is this? Cheers again.

    Storage upgrade route options?

Thanks for the replies... The main reason for wanting rid of the HDD is the noise/vibrations, the thing is ancient and is constantly hammering the hard disk during gaming (Louder/audible over a 7970 @ 60% fan speed -_- ) In terms of space, i'll use no more than 200gb, but having a SSD more...
