For gaming? I would save money and only change case if you really like it. Cooling could make it quieter, that for me is a good upgrade.

I got the original midi and can't justify changing it anytime soon. Removed the hard drive cages and got a side window for it. I think its nearly perfect. Very quiet case considering its got open top. Much prefer the corsair cases to cooler master. Cooler master is decent though too.

I'd rather get the Akasa Apaches. The SP120's look lovely, but my AF120's put me off buying as they were only really quiet at 1000 rpm. Akasa's run on PWM too, bonus.

Why not get one of those chair mats they use in offices to let the chair roll around on? Easy to get online. Another option is to buy those small plastic things that wheels can sit in, similar to those people stand sofas on.

You can quite easily mod the 300 to have very good cable management, it's a great case if you have the time and patience to mod it. If you reverse the hard drive bays and cut holes for the cables in the motherboard tray they can easily be hidden too. I really wanted an Antec 300 till I saw the...
