I would reset everything to stock speeds, and then retry F3. Just because temps are ok, it doesn't mean the overclock is stable under load.

Did you try playing with no AA? I seem to remember a similar problem with some other game, where pixellation occurred when transparent AA was used. Have you tried any older drivers?

The 8800gtx doesn't seem to work with atitool. I've had my GTX for over 2 years now, it runs at ~90c for hours every day with no problems, but it showed artifacts in atitool when I first got it.
