    Last Gen Ford Ranger Owners?

Yeah still have it... on 110,000 miles and to date it has been very reliable. Had a leaking front diff about a week after I got it but that was quickly fixed under warranty. It's quite economical for what it is giving over 30mpg and the 13amp socket in the cab has been used far more than I...

Nickel is a poor conductor relative to gold and copper. I see the benefit of gold providing a non oxidising connector but in my head the conductivity can't be more than the nickel layer that it has to pass through to get to the copper.

Like I said I'm not electrically minded but the connection is made on the gold plating for good conductivity, it then has to pass through a layer of nickel (poor conductivity) to get to the copper (good conductivity)..... I don't get the benefit.

Ok I get they are more conductive, but surely the fact they are plated over a layer of nickel negates any increase in conductivity?

If you really need or want bluetooth the only quality option is the Cambridge Alva but it is a bit out of budget at £849 or £599 if you are a Richer Sounds VIP.

A lot of turntables use a separate motor assembly, the belt doesn't need to be particularly tight so little force applied.
