I know! Who cares anyway, all Graphics cards are overpriced and if you've got the money so what. The RTX 4070 TI is a great product but just overpriced.
Interesting, why would it cause issues? Its just the same mounting as the Intel mechanism - in fact it seems to put less stress on the board than the spring lever?
Just installed one of these on my Asus z690 Prime and I91300K.
Everyone with a 12th or 13th gen Intel system should just buy one - I cant believe how crap it makes the horrible bendy spring loaded mechanism of Intel boards look!
Temperatures dropped 6 deg immediately!

I'm still waiting for my Nitro XTX - currently running a Sapphire XT which I have had zero issues with and think its an impressive card. The intention is to sell at a bargain price but I almost feel like keeping for another system!
I don't understand all the hate reviews of the XT, we all know...
I just used the Microsoft Media Creation tool. I think this is a Bios bug whereby the Installation tool can't see TPM and Secure boot enabled. Thanks for the link and guide.
The weird issue is that when I boot the system which has a windows install on it says it meets the requirements!
I may end up having to install windows 10 and then update to 11.
I had the GPT issue with my sons PC but this should be OK.
So my system was upgraded to Win 11 earlier this year and I had to enable the usual TMP/Secure boot settings.
I now come to reinstall with a copy of Win 11 and it tells me the system doesn't meet the requirements!
Asus Prime Z690 -latest Bios SEcure boot enabled.
Help!

Why do manufacturers still put a CD in the box - be easier if they just used a nice branded usb drive.I can’t be arsed with finding an external CD drive and some new boards haven’t got all the drivers up on sites yet.
Luckily I cloned my drive to a spare SSD about 4 days earlier so haven't lost anything important. I have new drive arriving today. Arcronis is a friend for life - should do this every week!
I bought a WD Black SN850 drive a few weeks back and added an Akasa stick on hetasink.
Today I rebuilt my system with a new board and removed the heatink in order to make use of the onboard heatsinks. The heatsink was really stuck on but I managed to get it off with just my fingers and no tools...
What has happened with this launch? never known anything like it. I have a new CPU and coming and you can't actually buy a cooler that works out of the box!
Surely its so simple to supply stand offs that reduce the height by 1mm to enable proper contact.
I now have an 18 month old Corsair AIO...
Anyone experienced anything similar:
PC hasn't crashed since I installed windows a year ago.
Recently installed two games on steam, Cyberpunk and Horizon Zero Dawn.
Cyberpunk was running really well but had a blue screen which then resulted in Steam reinstalling the game several times..now...
I'm looking at buying this drive to install on an ASUS Prime motherboard that already has heatsinks for an M.2 drive.
Question - do I remove the heatsink off this drive or install it in an open slot that isn't under the motherboard built in heatsink?
Does it make a difference in which slot you...
