    27" 1440p Monitor suggestion?

I came here to ask exactly the same question... I'm thinking either of these two: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/samsung-c27hg70-27-2560x1440-va-freesync-2-144hz-gaming-quantum-dot-hdr-widescreen-curved-monitor-mo-235-sa.html...

RIP Gigabyte 7950! Seeking advice for a replacement

Thanks all, luckily my brother isn't using his GPU so he'll lend that to me until 3rd gen Ryzen are released and then I'll place my order! I'm debating whether or not to wait as there is always something else around the corner but I think we are so close to the release of 3rd gen Ryzen!

RIP Gigabyte 7950! Seeking advice for a replacement

Thanks for calling this out! I wasn't aware. I have an Asus P6T Deluxe which I assume doesn't support UEFI so I might need to get a temporary GPU if I decide to wait for Ryzen 3xxx. This is my mobo: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P6T_Deluxe/

RIP Gigabyte 7950! Seeking advice for a replacement

After hours and hours of research, I think I've found a good value for money combination (see my basket below). After reviewing benchmarks at 1440 for the vega 56/64 I thought it would be best to stay at 1080 to get every frame out of a 144hz monitor. I was very drawn to Nvidia after reviewing...

RIP Gigabyte 7950! Seeking advice for a replacement

Thank you all for taking the time to respond. It seems like AMD is the better option with the 2 additional free games and the value for money. I assume going AMD Sapphire are the best choice?

RIP Gigabyte 7950! Seeking advice for a replacement

Hi all, So my Gigabyte 7950 3GB died today after many years of faithful overclocked service! I need to order a new GPU and I'd like some advice on the brand or even a particular GPU. Here is what I'm after: £500 budget Nvidia preferably (Simply because I've never had an Nvidia GPU) Decent...

GTX 1060 - Buy now or wait?

Won't the next gen Nvidia cards be quite expensive? I'm currently using a 7970 too and it struggles on a few games at 1080p. A 1060 would be a considerable upgrade for quite a reasonable price.

GTX 1060 - Buy now or wait?

Good point, I just didn't want to order and then a few weeks later prices drop significantly. I'll place my order this week in that case, thanks :D

GTX 1060 - Buy now or wait?

Hi, Is this card worth buying now or do you think prices will come down when the next generation of cards are released? I'm happy to wait of prices will come down. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-geforce-gtx-1060-gaming-x-6144mb-gddr5-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-32k-ms.html Thanks Dan

What PC games are you playing?

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is my go to game, I get into another game now and again but Counter-Strike: Global Offensive always remains constant

Which Nvidia GPU would be bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware?

To be honest I don't plan on upgrading the bulk of my PC until my hand is forced, if I can make do with a GTX 1060 for a good few years I'll be happy with that. Thanks :)

Which Nvidia GPU would be bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware?

Thank you for all the help and advice, RAM is looking pretty expensive but I'll keep hunting around. Think I'll try and upgrade my CPU/GPU first as I don't notice any RAM issues at the moment (that I'm aware of). May even buy a 144Hz monitor beforehand to get the most out of CS:GO! Why are...

Which Nvidia GPU would be bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware?

Thanks, I'll check it out :D I'm not running triple channel mode no... didn't realise I was missing out! From having a quick Google 1 x 8GB of Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600MHz is coming up as more expensive then the 16GB I originally bought! In fact I could sell the memory and make a profit...

Which Nvidia GPU would be bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware?

Thanks for the tip, I'll continue scanning the marketplace for a decent deal and see what I can find.

Which Nvidia GPU would be bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware?

I don't have a reasonable cooling solution but that needs an upgrade and I'm probably going to get either a BeQuiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 or NZXT Kraken X62 which should do the job nicely, just waiting around for a sale. I am swaying between the two as I value silence but the NZXT Kraken X62 is...

Which Nvidia GPU would be bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware?

Thank you for taking the time to help Journey, really appreciated. I play the following: CS:GO (runs fine already) BF4+1 Sims 3+4 GTA V PUBG Skyrim The games I currently struggle with are Skyrim, PUBG and GTA V. I'd love to be able to play Skyrim & GTA V on Ultra and not worry about FPS. What...

Which Nvidia GPU would be bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware?

Hi, I've been eyeing up a new GPU for a while and now that the prices are starting to come down I might finally be able to justify paying the price. My question is, which Nvidia GPU would be bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware? Motherboard: Asus P6T Deluxe CPU: i7 920 @ 3.6 GHz Memory...
