Helldivers, Balatro, Final Fantasy. It's been a very strong start to the year. I don't think DD2 will be a GOTY contender, but it's definitely getting a lot of positive previews.
Yeah, the dialogue around these making it safer was bunk. They do two things; allow you to fit a card in a case that they otherwise couldn't fit in, and allow for some tidier cable management. I'm don't think Cablemod pushed the safety angle, but I bet they were pretty happy with all the people...
I considered picking one up, but thought it would just add another point of failure and went with an angled cable instead. The 12vhpwr connector is just badly designed.
The MSI Expert model reminds me of Asus' ProArt cards. Maybe they're finally getting the message that we don't all want cards that look like a unicorn vomited over them.
I've just swapped out a NH-D15 for a Phantom Spirit as I've moved everything into a Fractal North (The NH-D15 does fit but there's not much room for other things. Side fan bracket is right out.) No ram clearance issue, unlike with the NH-D15, and I'm getting near equal performance. Fans it comes...
I really doubt this will stop the attacks. Maybe delay them for a while, but just like the previous operations, it's ultimately going to do nothing. I've really no idea what a realistic path to peace might actually involve, but right now everything's following the usual cycle.

I hope so. They've got the potential for a great set-up, but they seem to be overworking themselves with churning out content which is presumably what leads to the errors.
In that case he could have just left them to do their own thing because they clearly having some big issues with their testing methodology. Doesn't matter how good the kit is if they keep putting out dodgy data.
Hopefully in Vol.2, but there's a whole bunch of other games they might go through before reaching that. There was some news recently that they actually had a build that was working flawlessly on the 360, so hopefully it's a lot easier to port than people thought it would be.
T30s, NF-A12x25s, and Silent Wing 4s are all top tier, but as you say, hard to justify spending that much on individual fans unless money is no object or you absolutely need the best. A far better price to performance option is the Antec P series. You can pick up a box of 5 for less than the...
