Nope. I can only seem to find connectors with dual rails.

I need one of these connectors and the male equivalent but cant find them anywhere. Does anyone know what they are called and where to get them? I've looked through the sites of major electronic retailers with no luck. Thanks

I've experienced that exactly as you've described - when i was younger I was intrigued by it.
