Cheers guys for your input. I will take a look at Protein Works to see what they have on offer and go for unflavoured to mix with foods and Strawberry flavoured when mixing with just water at work.
Evening,
Can anyone recommend some decent tasting strawberry or chocolate whey protein?
I do not train or work out often but was solely looking to add some to my smoothies, pancakes, porridge or mixed with water to up my daily calorie intake.
I tried vanilla in recent months but it...
Any good deals floating around for the Edge for new customers? The camera is enticing me over the current G4 I have. The G4 is far too slow for capturing the active little one.
Any recommendation whether to grab the Mark 1 or Mark 2 for your basic days out snaps of friends and family? The articulated screen, WiFi and hot-shoe warrant jumping on that instead of the lighter Mark 1 or ignore both and get the MK3?
I got a G4 at Xmas but keep looking at the S7 Edge. The G4 camera has been poor capturing my toddler. The S7 camera with Dual AF seems a step up.
I know I can use the DSLR but it for those moments when going for a walk or out for dinner and you want to capture the moment then and there.
Thanks guys for the video support information. I currently have a G4 and for video it isn't very good. It constantly hunts for focus and doesn't do 1080/60p.
The dual pixel AF in the S7 seems a step up for shooting video along with snapping the family when without the DSLR.
I am aware that the APS-C is significantly bigger than the 1" sensor but had assumed the 16-50 kit lens would lose out to the RX100 1.8 - 2.8 in similar conditions? I would use the video in 4k sparingly but the high frame rate could be handy for capturing the little ones.
Adding a faster lens...
I recently picked up the Sony A5100 with the 16-50 and have been surprised at the quality for both video and stills.
I am still tempted by the RX100 IV or could just add to the kit bag some primes for the A5100.
The A5100 is portable enough with the kit lens but the RX100 is a lot smaller and...
The A5100 is portable enough with the kit lens but yes the RX100 is a lot smaller and can be easily taken anywhere. The main reason for still looking at it was if I only kept the 16-50 lens. The RX100 one is a lot faster. At the moment any evening indoor shots get ramped up to ISO 3200. The...

I am still tempted by the RX100 IV or just get some primes for the A5100. Thinking the Sony 35 1.8 as my first one.
Am I daft for wanting the faster lens on the RX100 over the Alpha...
