I recall him making a lot of people hyped for polaris aka rx 480 and they were expecting top tier performance for mid tier pricing.
The 480 was an excellent card at what is was designed for but since then I take his hype claims with a few pinches of maldon :D
Nah they've been a bugger to get at launch for a long time. I remember with the 480 I got day 1 seeing plenty of posts people couldn't get one.
