Would DBAN work on an already formatted and empty disk?

Hello all, My 4TB internal hard drive started malfunctioning recently (bad sectors appeared) and I since it is still covered by warranty I decided to format it under Windows and send it back for replacement. Then I realised that simple formatting would not make the date go away permanently and...

Does anybody know when back-to-school sales/ offers begin in UK?

Oh, so is that only an american tradition? That's a shame... I could swear I've seen reductions in the past around this time of the year and automatically assumed it was a back-to-school sale. Thanks anyway, guys.

Thank you, Danny75. I am currently running Bvckup 2 in Trial mode and if I like it will definitely purchase the standard license. If I don't like it- will give SyncFolders a try.

Not sure if that's a DOS command or something else? Either way I am way too inexperienced in this sort of things :) Thank you, though.

Problems with my new Threadripper 1950X and ASRock Thaichi X399 build

Wow, in other words- clean install of Windows 10 only? That is very handy. So, do I just download the official .iso from Microsoft's web-site, burn it onto a DVD or create a bootable flash drive, install it and then proceed with the activation? Much appreciated, Jeeva.

Problems with my new Threadripper 1950X and ASRock Thaichi X399 build

I hope it works out for you too, mate. There's no greater pain in this life than that of a disgruntled PC builder...even giving birth pales in comparison :) Although like I wrote above- I am not quite sure what solved my issue. Just glad it's over. Good luck. P.S Oh, forgot to mention- I did...

Problems with my new Threadripper 1950X and ASRock Thaichi X399 build

OK guys, Great news- the problem is gone (for now at least) I did a clean install of Windows 8.1 and then updated to 10 Pro for free from Windows web-site. This time I allowed all updates to be installed as opposed to before. That might have solved the issue being that Threadripper is a brand...
