Hi I have the Asus A8N-VM and use the on-board sound with latest drivers! But if i leave my pc on for long periods of time say overnight when i play a music cd it comes out all distorted and jumpy!! All i need to do is restart the pc and all is ok it can then be on playing for 3 hours no...

Asus A8N-VM mobo Bios i did have alook there when i first got the prob but there don't seem to be any setting for the memory!!! I take it this is where the dual bit setting comes in? Shane

Hi I have an asus a8n-vm mobo with on board nividia geforce 6150 and would like to run two 20 - 22 inch flat widescreen monitors do you think i will have trouble with this or should i upgrade to a good graphics card? I don't play many games mainly edit photos video and web stuff! Shane

Ok just an update!! I shutdown pc and removed one stick of ram and rebooted which took forever to load windows run memtest and got 52 errors in 2 % infact the error box was so fast there i had a job closing the memtest program!! Shut down pc again and removed the second stick and replaced...

ok just testing 500 mb of my ram and at 5% 9 errors so must have a faulty stick!! Now i need to remove one stick and retest but how do i alocate just a bit of the mem as it will not test it all in one go?

Hi I seem to be having trouble with IE i was on ver 6 and just kept crashing all the time upto 10 times in an hour so i upgraded to ver 7 and still the same!! So in the end i restarted xp with a fresh install and went straight to ver 7 and still the same maybe not as bad only four times...
