Assuming the OP wants to stick to nearer their original budget would an IPS 27” monitor at 2560x1440p (or maybe a larger ultrawide [34” 3440x1440 ) running at native resolution be a better option than the 32” 4k one they tried?
Or would a 28” 4k monitor running at scaled to the equivalent of...
From what I've read MacOS is pretty temperamental when it comes to scaling text properly on a monitr especially if you need to run it at non-native resolution which is probably why the 32" didn't look great. I'm currently using a 34" ultrawide (3440x1440) which works OK in MacOS but the image...
Kind of unecessary unless you have an older car without air con or climate control IMO.
Maybe useful if you smoke/vape in the car though I guess.
Personally I’ve always thought they look a bit rubbish though ?
That's the million dollar question we should be pondering IMO.
What happens to the high-end PC and Console market when game streaming starts to dominate the sector (as it inevitably will at some point IMO)?
Likewise. As long as Nvidia are charging £500 for a mid-range graphics card consoles aren't going anywhere!
Personally, spending all day in front of a computer at work I'm quite happy to play games using a controller on the couch!
That's how I'm starting to feel. My "gaming" is so old now...
Stellar Blade Looks utterly uninspired and quite generic from what I've seen of it so far but time will tell. Hopefully there's some substance and depth lurking underneath the surface.
Certainly won't be in a rush to buy it based on the current footage though.
Single player stuff isn’t really a problem. As you say you can always line them up so they’re ready.
I find it’s mainly multiplayer games I find an issue. As often my friends will message me saying “do you want a game COD, Diablo, Street fighter, Gran Turismo, etc . that’s about 400gb and...
Initial reviews seem to mirror our initial thoughts. Mediocre graphics and generic open world quests.

Personally, I find the standard ps5 internal storage really restrictive as it’s only space for 5-6 larger game installs.
On slower broadband you could be looking at 8+hours overnight to install a large game so you really need an extra terabyte or two of storage if you’re in that situation IMO.
Yeah, looks a bit generic though I haven’t really seen enough of the gameplay/mechanics to decide.
I’m hoping there’s more to it than just another ghosts of Tsushima stroll from waypoint to waypoint collect-athon as that bored me after a couple of hours.
I’m a bit disappointed that it and...
Personally I’m waiting for the next gen video cards (Rtx 5000) to drop later this or early next year before upgrading.
I’m not paying £1000+ for an Rtx 4080/4090 when it’s now an 18 month old card. If I’m going to get gouged then I might as well be gouged for newly released tech!
Thats exactly how I feel! There’s a risk that not only could it be an awful movie sequel in its own right but that it could ruin the first one!
Given that was very much a self contained story of it’s own I’m struggling to see how they can make a worthwhile sequel to it.
I bought the PC version on Steam to test it but I think I’m going to refund as the performance on my PC (GeForce 980 / Ryzen 3100) isn’t great (sub 30fps on medium quality at 1440p).
The game itself lived up to the hype from the hour or so I played and I don’t want to ruin the experience by...
They both look interesting but I’ll wait for reviews first!
I’ve just spent £80 on the PS5 physical release of Baldurs Gate 3 so need to reign in my spending this month!
