    Dead HDD

Just checking on the off chance someone has any ideas. My pc stopped booting a few weeks back & through trial & error I found it was one of my data drives causing the issue, a 300GB SATA drive. Unplugged the pc boots fine but with it in it fails to load into windows even though it has no boot...

Thanks but looking to stick with the F1s assuming they are still considered decent. Want to keep the same tread front & back ideally & the fronts have some life left in them.

    **Unofficial Tyre Thread**

Need to get some new tyres on my 350z (245/45/R18). Currently have Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3's on there as they seemed to be the recommended go to choice last time I got tyres fitted (was a while ago now). Are they still a good bet or would anyone recommend a different option these days?

    Showers

Water pressure isn't bad but we are unlikely to be running two showers at the same time very frequently anyway and having been used to a trickle from the current one I am guessing it wouldn't be that much of a hardship. Is it still worth going with the suggested aqualisa though or are they...

    Showers

Having been pretty set on this, we have now decided we may well convert to a combi boiler instead, so the question now is: Is the Aqualisa still worth it (the suitable one for a combi that is) over a cheaper type & if not what would you recommend. As an additional query, anything we would...

    Las Vegas

Absinthe is amazing but I would definitely recommend Penn & Teller. Great show & they hang out afterwards so you can get pictures with them :) Very down to earth guys.

Why the Aqualisa quartz though, what makes it so good in comparison?

    Showers

Edited down in post 8 with questions - Now likely having a combi boiler instead. We are looking to get our bathroom & ensuite completely redone and wanted some advice on showers. The current bathroom has a gravity based shower which dribbles the water out slower than stalagtites form, the...

    Who owns a 350z/370z?

Yeah 176 made, 100 Kuro black, 76 yellow. Mine is black, had it for about 3 years now & love it. Sadly been heaping on the motorway miles for most of its life with me now though which has meant driving oh so sensibly most of the time. Also means it gets serviced very regulary :p

    New/Old phone needed

Morning, My fiancee is after a new phone (SIM only) as her current very very very old phone (original HTC desire) is dying. Her main requirements are large memory as the desire had shocking memory and she could only take a few photos before it was full, and a decent enough camera to take pics...

Bit of advi...lots of advice for a new build as I haven't done this in a while

Just wanted to say cheers for the advice. All built now after a delay in delivery, cannot believe how quiet it is & performance is night & day compared to the old box. :)

Bit of advi...lots of advice for a new build as I haven't done this in a while

Cheers stulid, I very much appreciate this. Looking at the specs the MX100 looks like it reads & writes a bit quicker so I assume that is the better one to go for?

Bit of advi...lots of advice for a new build as I haven't done this in a while

That all looks pretty good :D But some questions. Is there any particular need for Windows 8.1? I currently have Windows 7 Home Premium at the moment which has both the 32 & 64bit versions. Would probably be useful to have a bit of extra capacity on the SSD as well, I assume changing...

Bit of advi...lots of advice for a new build as I haven't done this in a while

Similarly buried within the wall of text :D but they are SATA drives, 3TB & a 650GB i think, may have a really old ide one in there as well. The PSU is an OCZ600mxsp The case I am not sure how to identify it other than having just opened it it is very dusty :p, I won it at a Q3 tourney...

Bit of advi...lots of advice for a new build as I haven't done this in a while

Hi, it is buried within the wall of text but the budget is somewhere in the area of a grand or a bit more if it is worth it. I do have a fairly decent case but I am not sure how big the cards are these days so not 100% sure if it will fit things & seem to recall getting a good PSU but this...

Bit of advi...lots of advice for a new build as I haven't done this in a while

I haven't upgraded my pc in god knows how long & have no idea anymore what is advised CPU/Graphics/RAM/anythingwise any more. Glancing at my current setup I have P4 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), 2 gigs of ram (not sure what speed) and a Radeon X800GT gfx card. I have a number of Hdd's but all are SATA...
