Oh I agree but don't like this idea that instead of fixing the problem with short supply they just come out with another card that uses the same memory causing even more of a shortage.
The 1080 launch has to have been the most successful in terms of demand but complete shambles in terms of...
So instead of nvidia trying to sort out the shortage in memory chips for the 1080 they release the titan using the same kind of memory chips. *claps* well done nvidia *claps*
Talk about money grabbing. :(
Great so thanks to a mess up I was missed in the queue system. Dont know how and now looks like won't be getting my FTW until mid August. I wouldn't mind if I only jus ordered recently but considering I placed mine on the 14 June. People who clearly ordered after have been shipped thiers.
So I ordered my FTW graphics card on the 14th June and was 21st in the queue last Wednesday. Now i'm 7th in the queue as of today even though people who clearly ordered after me have been sent theirs. Quote below.
How is this even fair or possible? Considering I paid on the day I ordered too...
Looks like ive had 19 people push I front of me as I was 21st weds last week and iv not had a shipping notice. :@ Absolutely stupid this queue system if I missed out because people switched from other cards and blatantly pushed in front.
The bonus shipment came last week. There should have been the regular one on Friday which never turned up. Same again yesterday and now I'm worried been pushed out of that shipment due to people switching to the FTW. Last time I checked on Wednesday I was 21st in the queue.
Don't get me...
One of the big problems AMD have is that it's in the gpu and cpu market. So they need to spend thier money over the 2 sectors. Intel + nvidia only need to focus on the one meaning more money to develop new technology. Might of seemed like a good idea when they bought ati years ago but really...
Well thts good news for me as I ordered on the 14th. Hopefully will get mine shipped Friday but depends if people switch thier orders to the FTW. Knowing there is a bonus order this week. :/
Hmmm didn't think I'd get much for a 970 if I sold it.
If I just decided to keep it and use it along side the my 1080 how much power would I need. Got a 850 watt psu. That enough?
I'm hopefully getting my new gtx 1080 soon but have some questions on whether or not using the gtx 970 as a dedicated physx card worth it?
Also what power requirements would that need?
If not worth it I will probably just sell my 970 for some cash.
