well as wee experiment i charged mine to 100% and then left it overnight. Dropped 20% between 2300-0000 and 0600. So not great, but not the worst either. The wifes iphone 7 barely holds a charge these days so by comparison i cant complain

yeah we use a google home mini with a routine of "Its $CHILDS bedtime now". It turns up the volume and plays rain noises on repeat for a few hours. Much easier than trying to do everything manually.
