Must be a pass through setting on the tv. Can you force it to stereo and see if that works? Could be atv is trying to output atmos or something that doesn’t work over optical. I had similar before on a Phillips tv and a Roku stick

I have a couple of different ones: Tp link kassa and innr. The to link ones are nice as they have powers monitoring built in and the innr ones pair with hue and have lamps in them.

I would not recommend haier, we have one and it’s not very good vs the service one it replaced. Circuit board failures and restricted waterways caused issue 9 months after purchase for us.

I go to a local independent carpet shop. They seem to have much more time for the customer and have plenty of samples etc on hand

Floor slab was smashed to bits with settlement cracks and voids everywhere, no DPC so damp all over it too. This was to allow for proper base, DPC, insulation and new slab to be poured. I keep telling them to do under floor heating but so far it fallen on deaf ears
