AMD should market the Radeon VII as a card made for crossfire and bundle them for £1000 vs nvidia's £1200 for the 2080ti Duke.. (yep repeated myself)
if I worked for AMD id be kicking the doors open to lisa's office burst in and slap this straight down on her desk... two for a grand lisa...
whats the performance like in xfire…. we know it performs like a 1080ti in single card mode, but what about sli.
I would imagine the performance at £1400 for two Radeon VII would be on par with one 2080ti and even with my big old fatty handed Titan V.
2080ti @ £1200 roughly for the duke oc...
I love my titan V a little more each day. I love the fact it performs above or is on par with rtx cards. even when performing rtx instructions through software. very very cool bit of kit....
the new Titan RTX is only a better option if you buy two cards for sli… imo so i'm sticking with the V...
I just managed to pick up a second titan v for £1950... brand new and sealed it its box. I figured that no matter what comes out I should be fine technology wise. I might miss out on the new hdmi adapters and leds.
but thats about it. my first one was stolen in the post btw... got my money back...
ive just managed to pick up one of these cards for £2000 a couple of months old.
it's delivery is tomorrow(hopefully) and ive already sold my old titan x pascal for £750.
So for £1250 ive managed to upgrade to volta…
I know we have some new cards coming out, but they will only be cut down...
ocuk were only asking for 30pounds initially to check for you (and even flash the card)as a favour I think to help out the community... I usually post on a different tech forum but this whole thing cought my attention...
I think as a business decision they could have kept quiet and just made...
the memory controller built into haswell runs at 1600mhz native... most cpu's struggle to reach high cpu cycles and keep a high memory controller speed due to heat. every haswell chip is different...good luck... and by the way, the memory controller is reported as not liking anything more than...
this is one of the reasons its best to build your own pc... the silicon lottery works both ways...
not only can you find golden chipsets, cpu's, gpu's, ic's on your memory. you can also find a rotten egg...
as a system builder I can tell you I consider myself to of been lucky... but things...
