You aren't doing the maths correct there. Remember the total price (Sale price + 20% VAT) is effectively 120% in total. For every £100 an extra £20 would be the VAT charged on top.
So in your example, your maths is wrong. It's not a 80%/20% split.
For a sale of £80, the VAT is 20% of that =...
I suffered through 3 minutes of game play before I uninstalled it. Very poor FPS playing off of the name 'DOOM'. No charm of the original DOOM / DOOM II era. I dare not even compare it to the pinnacle that was Quake III Arena.
I've enjoyed watching The Witness being played on Twitch, but still not yet made the decision to buy it myself.
I'm really tempted to grab the PC version but still waiting to see if it comes out on the Xbox One
That is not the law! :D 30 day returns, such as offered by Amazon, are their own policies going way beyond what is required by law.
Under the new Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your contract of sale within 14 days without giving any reason.
You are also...
I know that.
But if a potential customer says 'No' to a ridiculous cable, 'No' to accidental damage cover, 'No' to a TV stand... surely having to say it once is enough?
Why should I have to repeat myself about twenty times "I just want to buy the telly!" over the course of about 10...
Was on a verge of an angry shouting match in Currys a few weeks ago when buying a TV that was on sale and the salesman would not stop trying to sell me a £40 HDMI cable.....
It's only partially software emulated.
The US and Japan version had a combined chip which contained the Emotion Engine (PS2 CPU) and Graphics Synthesizer (PS2 GPU) built in.
The EU version only had the Graphics Synthesizer as a chip, with the PS3 Cell Processor emulating the PS2's Emotion...
They can't charge tenants in Scotland this type of signing up fees and as your location says Aberdeen that'll be why you just had your deposit. Likewise for me, Edinburgh = no fees!
The English system seems such a harsh con with some agencies.
I see your 10MHz Z80, and raise you some of my 20MHz Z80s! (Also got some of the 50Mhz eZ80... great fun working with them! I still develop 8 bit hardware.)
I really don't like the approach of just using emulation on an ARM chip as in the Vega. Using the real processor is much more fun and more...
I would guess it's not there due to all the licensing issues for James Bond. Same reason it didn't appear on Xbox Live Arcade on the 360 as apparently all the porting work was completed at the same time as Perfect Dark.
Looking forward to this, although I still own some of the originals :D
With the backwards compatibility trial including the Rare 360 games, I'm wondering if it was Rare that worked on the BC for Microsoft. I'm also curious how they are doing the original Xbox games... new ports, XBox...
Not quite sure where you are getting that from. It's a lot quicker and depends on the orientation of Earth and Mars, and the speed of the launch.
For various landers and satellites:
Viking 1 (1976) – 335 days
Viking 2 (1976) – 360 days
Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (2006) – 210 days...
