    Can this be pointed ?

Just cleaned my patio over the weekend which I have put off doing due to previous owner filling the gaps in with gravel instead of mortar. As expected the gravel went everywhere whilst pressure washing. So I am thinking of doing it myself. The only issue being the size of the gaps, is this too...

    Interior Door fitting - price

Joiner told me he could fit about 6/7 in a day between 2 of them, not sure what his daily rate is now but most other trades are wanting £250 per day. So around £500 for 6/7 doors

    Stud wall help

I would remove the noggins and then fill and paint the wall on the other side. Pita but full height studs would be better, if you don't fancy that then the previous suggestion of fitting half height studs in-between the noggins is OK. As for the question about spacers, just screw them to...

    Stud wall help

just sister the existing studs, then use packers/spacers on the top/bottom plate. You'll have it done this way in 2 hours or less if you crack on

    Stud wall help

10mm is nothing, if you're really bothered then you could just put new studs into the existing wall that overhang the baseplate and/or top plate by 10mm. Personally I wouldn't bother though for 10mm,

    Ants in my house

I paid a pest guy about 300 last year to drill 15 holes in my walls and inject some kind of substance to kill them, we'll see if that solved the issue this summer I guess.
