Well the single rad AIO might be able to cool it at default speed but when you overclock that monster of a CPU, you are looking at something like 360mm rad space or more. A friend of my has this cpu delided & overclocked 4.5Ghz and a custom loop with (IIRC) 2x 480mm Rad in push and pull config...
I got the same card, 66-67 degrees when gaming, 50+ during web browsing this is depending on the contents of websites tbh. Watching twitch stream, movies can raise the temp to that level or after gaming, the heat still there but the fan already stops at below 60
Well in the first 30 retail units only 3 couldn't do 5Ghz, the rest was like 5Ghz or above. Paying £100 more for that chance doesn't seem too good for me. Bright side is that you got a delided and 1 year warranty chip.
Nice one there! Also take care of the vccio and sa voltage, if you left them on auto they might shoot to 1.3v. 1.2v for vccio and 1.25v for vsa or less for 24/7. Dram vol can go for 1.45v no problem with ddr4 and bdie.
I have used both. The GT version I used was Darkside 2150rpm pwm. The GT fans seem to be a tad quieter, it's not really meassurable by dcb unit but the general high pitch air passing noise at high rpm seems to be more "comfortable". I don't really know how to describe it.
