I want to game at 1440p and the 390 looks like it could hack it and of course it's cheap... But I was thinking why dont I just go all out and grab myself a 980... Would I notice a considerable improvement from having a 980 though? Thanks in advance!

i've had okay experiences of b grade.. my boss got a 970 for just over 200 quid that works great, and I also got a cheap r7 something a while back for someone.. it came damaged, with a bent pcb! but on a part that didn't actually have anything on it and that thing overclocks like crazy

I think they were only recently released, presume reviews will trickle in soon! I was interested in these also, just for their amazing price point!

Not sure whether to go for the xfx card now or wait to see if the new 390 here drops to the same price as the xfx on black friday... Decisions decisions!

I had this with my ssd.. Just replaced the sata cable and it was fine Could be as simple as that or could be driver issues, hardware issues, or tons of other things... Always try the simple things first though!

I reckon machines will do for now until your body adapts to lifting again! It will be a few weeks of being very sore after workouts until you adapt! You should notice some pretty good strength gains in the first few months so I wouldn't worry about light weight feeling heavy for very long! And...

The price of these over their itx version is mental! Shows the quality of the materials they use but christ, 140 is steep for a minimalistic case!

I had this with my ssd.. Decided to no longer detect it.. Got it working in the end after checking all the connections by just pulling them out and putting them back in again!

You could do what people water cooling systems do, use a paper clip on the motherboard pin (green wire to black I think but don't quote me on it) That starts the power supply up without the motherboard and could help you figure out if its the PSU or not... Its probably just a capacitor or maybe...

Was gonna give a recommendation but saw that you've fixed it now >.< I had an overclocked 965 and a 7870 so very similar and it ran okay on 600watts but I sometimes had issues on the graphics card overclock which I put down to the PSU.. Got an 850w and now it never crashes so the 800 watt you...

Pretty sure on the page you can change tdp percentages.. I think its automatically on 90% total tdp possible so very likely its just over estimating :)
