    Is 100k a large salary?

Destroying aspiration? Anyone earning 100k could put 50k into their pension and avoid 40% tax and also keep child benefit (getting easier going forward).

When are you going fully electric?

To be fair, that's how I drove to mid France from the UK using Tesla nav. Put in the destination and followed. Only planning was asking if I could destination charge and having the right plug adapter.

When are you going fully electric?

Pulling a caravan with an EV roughly halves the range and makes charging harder. I don't think the Model 3 can pull anything, the bar was mainly for bike racks etc. you would need to check.

When are you going fully electric?

Buy from a reputable dealer as if it has been in a big accident then Tesla may have locked it out of their network if they were not involved in ensuring it is safe. Other than that, make sure you get it added to your Tesla app.

What's the furthest you've been in an EV?

550miles model 3 performance. To mid France, in a day. Was a breeze.

When are you going fully electric?

The cheapest generation 3 yaris within 40 miles that wasn't an import was 12 years old and £7900.. Second hand market is broken.

When are you going fully electric?

Yeah my daughter just got accepted for an Ora 3 lease. Sadly we didn't find it quite that cheap, but was still very reasonable £200ish for 8k miles. She only recently passed with Auto only licence. We did consider a 3 year old Zoe, but this is better value. Most people spend £200 on fuel a...

Fibre upgrade - Router and AP recommendations

So I was using a dream machine and wifi 5 AP, but I wanted to add another AP as the Tesla wasnt getting a good signal from the central upstairs ceiling AP or Dream machine. I havn't been overly imporessed with the Dream Machine, it was always a little delicate and there isn't a wifi 6e...

I dropped Ubiquiti setup last week for 3 x TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro AXE5400 Works fine on Cityfibre 900/900 (Vodafone) I miss the simple advert blocking and more dynamic DNS provider choice. But they offer a free option and for ads I can install pihole.

When are you going fully electric?

Unsure tbh, a quick Google suggests the EU will allow it and thus we will likely follow.

When are you going fully electric?

As stated before, it should be fine if we have steer by wire, greatly reduced steering lock, and variable steering based on speed. Enabled by the 48v low voltage introduced by the Cybertruck and due to be rolled out across all Tesla's. Ofc this will take some time.

When are you going fully electric?

It depends on how your company calculate benefits. It doesn't necessarily impact pensions, bonuses, income protection, life assurance etc. That said I just paid cash for my car as my company lacks a good scheme.

When are you going fully electric?

I did a trip to Scotland earlier in the year, it had me charge to 95% at one stop, in order to skip the more congested Superchargers. So they actively manage the issue. To be fair, thats the only issue I have with opening them up, the lack of automated balancing as non Tesla's will just...

When are you going fully electric?

I use mine all the time when shopping etc. But an overnight hotel stay would require some thought. Remember if someone bumps you parking then you will likely be able to get their reg.

When are you going fully electric?

The same as home cameras tbh. You would hope that it deters people from damaging Tesla's a little though.

When are you going fully electric?

Yeah you do have to consider it, it is noticeable if leaving overnight etc. Not an option for the airport carpark. It auto disabled under 20% battery. So wouldn't run you flat.

When are you going fully electric?

5kWh a day is 0.2 an hour, at 7.5p that's 1.5p an hour. I wouldn't say it's expensive, it would take a long time to equal the spend on 360 degree third party camera setup. Ofc it would be more if you public charge, but you would be on the Supercharger network, so maybe 8p per hour. As above...
