Anyone tried running the game with hyperthreading/SMT disabled if RT is enabled? I know I got a performance bump when I did this with Spider-Man. Haven't downloaded Witcher 3 to test yet and can't seem to find any evidence of anyone trying this.
Could be a game changer for modded Skyrim VR certainly, if only to replace the games dated TAA implementation with DLAA. Hopefully the developers will release a VR compatible version soon.....
I played this during the first lockdown on XGP when most of my primary gear was in storage and was forced to play with a controller. Was a pleasant surprise. Really enjoyed it but kept almost exclusively with shotgun. For some reason it was really satisfying with a controller and I'm usually kbm...
Does your Elite Dangerous Steam license entitle you to a free Oculus one still? I bought E:D on Steam yet could still claim an Oculus license. I could then install and run via Oculus launcher using link. Not sure if you can still do that though...
I understand that it's all a negotiation and that the store guy's job is to walk you down but it's the lack of consistency that drives me crazy. Tangey's store honored the price-point of the day that the sale was agreed, even when re-graded.
How did you manage that? I set up a sale with CEX on 15.09 @ A-grade for £292. Took it into store and was told that it wouldn't make A-grade and it most likely it would be re-graded to B, but at 17.09 prices which made it £188!?
Is this right? I would have thought they would honor 15.09 price...
Personally I'd prefer to skip a gen and wait for Volta next year. It's not too long to wait, especially since you appear to be happy with what you have.
However, if the need to scratch the itch is too great then this looks like the best deal going atm...
This has peaked my interest. I just wish I bought Elite Dangerous during the Steam Summer Sale now.
Does anyone know if this deal also includes the Xbox wireless controller? It's listed on the rainforest but not Overclockers product description.
Could be malware related. It wouldn't surprise me what with the latest mining craze....
I'd run a full surface scan with a recognised av to rule that out.
They replaced with a refurb which also failed after 6 months. On my 2nd RMA they covered delivery costs and swapped out for what looked like an unused 980 (it had the cellophane over the heatsink shroud). It could also have been a refurb but has been serving me well ever since.
I had a 780ti Windforce that developed a fault 18 months ago. If it's within warranty and its your first Rma request Gigabyte will insist that collection and delivery costs are paid for by the customer. If you live near Milton Keynes you can drop it off at their Returns Dept. All subsequent Rmas...
There's an issue with the 1.4001 hotfix. When ran it deletes 2 files: *.dbd and *.dbc I believe. Renaming these 2 file extensions prior to running the hotfix avoids the issue.
The Devs are aware though and are repacking/posting before the weekend. I can't say that it's bug free though as i...
