urgg embarrassing , on of chance went into bios to check something else and noticed Ftpm module active , deactivated 95% of stutters gone.

considering this cpu over my current 5800x to pair with my 4090 @ 4k purely for gaming , trying to play the last of us but stutter fest lol so moved to resident evil 4 & new world cant decide at moment if worth it.

4090 & 5800x also stutters during start running through holding daughter before that was quite smooth , not updated graphics driver yet thou. 16gb VRAM @ 4k wowser

That was my other concern whether I had clearance … I measured and concluded it was a tight call. Seems you got lucky with new MB fits a treat with nothing to spare :D Block with abp looks a monster :D

loving the setup bud , i bottled and went with standard block as out of stock and used what would have been refunded to snag quanum velocity 2 cpu block to go nicely with distro plate , wish i never now thou looks nice ;)
