Thank you I'm looking forward to getting the psu mounted & cables made so I can focus on the other parts again! One thing I really need to do is position the GPU slightly close to the mobo so it can breath better rather than be pressed against the window.

Oh, I was aware of the number of cables needing to be doubled up, but wasn't aware of the need to use different guage wires for those cables. My current custom cables have one doubled up cable & I used the same guage wire for all wires & not noticed anything wrong with performance?

Thanks for the heads up on the 24 pin! What exactly do you mean by the sense wires? My run will be about 30cm or so, still deciding if I want them to run behind the mobo or infront. I could do a v2 of the psu case where it hides the top inch or so of the cables so the Y splits can be hidden in...

By normal cables do you mean cables without the sleeving on them? Like the standard cables that come with the psu

Because it's a split cable. Two cables from the psu side join together to go into one pin slot on the mobo side. On the GPU, it's got one pin from the psu split into to going into the GPU. That was the difficult part, trying to make the joins look the least ugly I could. I kept the joins close...

Thank you! Yeah, I used heat shrink on every end to keep the sleeving tight. Then I cut the sleeving off to keep it looking clean. Some cables had sleeving ending up a little too loose which made it difficult to push into the connectors. Next time, I'll try using a little bit of lube I bought...
