Actually it doesn`t seem to be that difficult. I was able to get 3080TI FE from Nvidia site couple of weeks ago. Was sitting there in the plain site for more then an hour. Checking Nvidia site maybe twice a week. I have seen some 3070TI and 3090 there before as well. All this unicorns looks...

3080Ti FE, expensive enough not a chance I would pay any more than that.

I have never said it is available on the retailers sites in the same time. The point I was trying to make is that the best chance is to grab it from Nvidia for MSRP price as I did on that evening. It was in stock for over an hour and it took me around 10 minutes to complete the order.

Yeah. There was no 3080 to buy. Only 3090 and 3080Ti. Managed to get 3080TI. Was delivered today.

It was not gone in seconds. In fact was in stock on Nvidia site for almost an hour. I have seen both 3090 and 3080TI. The latter was available for longer.

I am pretty sure there was information somewhere regarding dropping the CPU for older series on X470 after BIOS upgrade. Perhaps X570 support them all. I confirm once I test it

So after I upgrade, 2700x will not work with that mobo anymore? Just curious if chipset support all series in the same time or BIOS space for flashing is an issue?

X570 AORUS ULTRA not sure which revision. Since it is new board I would assume rev 1.2

I am getting new Gigabyte x570 today. Using 2700x at the moment but upgrading to 5900x. Will new mobo work with both series 2 and 5 without upgrading BIOS? My understanding is support for series 5000 remove support for series 2000 because of limited BIOS space? Or is it only applies to...

Try to beat me. :cool: I was on 2nd place last week for Gigabyte Vision. After yesterday's shipment of Visions among others card I got an email today. Still on 2nd place. My order still has not been dispatched.
