He got 6th National 25m too. Really looking forward to see how he gets on in the 10. Rumour has it that Wiggo will be there too.

Been on holiday recently and only managed one ride last week. That was hard work. Whilst I was away I see that a Paceline PT member hit a new record for the Tour de Richmond Park - 13.57 on his commuter bike. Nice.

I think I had Eagle F1s on it. It went through a set at the front in about 9 months though. Helped with the tramlining a lot, didn't help with the comfort, but the T5 wasn't that bad. It didn't like speed bumps though either, went through a lot of suspension bushes too.

I had an S60 T5 and the seats were amazing, much better than the 18 way adjustable ones in my e61. Also, whilst the e61 had numerous issues with (and needed £4,500 worth of work when I traded it) the S60, which I sold to a mate, is still going strong with 130,000 on the clock. The heater in...

Images of items I have purchased.

Three years? My E10M have died after 6 months, but that's about average for me. My earbuds get a lot of use / punishment. Couldn't find the M version so I've had to get the S this time round. I think I've made an error though as the S doesn't appear to have volume control.

That's why I still used to carry a spare tube. You can stick one in a tubeless tyre and carry on.

Like a feather. Three Sky in the top 6 and Porte moves into Polka Dots. Awesome.

Well, with Kwiatkowski talking to Sky there would be even less room for Porte next year.

POLL: How well can you swim?

Strong. Each Saturday I swim 1500m in the pool and I occasionally I do a km in the lake on a Monday. Open water triathlon swimming is a bit like being inside a washing machine filled with feet and people will think nothing of swimming over the top of you.

Shimano R650 Long Reach / Drop. Based on the last gen Ultegra (used to be branded as Ultegra Long Drop). I had them on my Ti frame for a while and they are excellent. Edit; beaten like a ginger step child.

Official pro cycling "WTF are they on?" thread

Some records are being set, but the overall race paces have dropped substantially. It's also worth noting that the guys who put in these herculean efforts are usually on the back foot in a big way the following day(s). It wasn't like that before. I'd like to think that this is an indication...

Should CV's be in PDF or docx or...what?

I've been sent my own CV before. That was an interesting conversation with the agent and then a very quick one with procurement and HR to remove them from the PSL.

First time on the bike in three weeks and it wasn't windy so I took the SS. I think it too me 90 minutes after I got out of the shower to stop sweating. Man that was hot. Also, gears tomorrow.

    What sunblock do you use?

Riemann P20; put it on in the morning and then forget about it for the rest of the day, even when exercising, swimming, etc.

First ever motorist convicted for 'lane hogging'

Er, no-one said they do. The situation is people who have ample opportunity to pull in but don't. You can drive up the M40 on a saturday morning and barely anyone is using lane 1, instead they sit in lane 2 or 3 for no apparent reason. Maybe they feel 2nd class if they go into lane 1....

First ever motorist convicted for 'lane hogging'

People spending too long (as in just sitting there) causes congestion and this generally leads to people driving too close to one another. It's also a massive waste of resources; it doesn't matter how many lanes you add to the motorway, it will still be congested if people only use the two on...
