    Recommendation for iPads 2nd hand

Try Apple Store refurbs - 849 for an M1 12.9. That way you save a few quid but get a warranty, new shell and most importantly a new battery.

    Virgin Media Discussion Thread

Finally managed to get a free upgrade to a Hub5 yesterday (as others have said they had no stock until recently). Went via the faults team and said I need the 2.5Gb ethernet port for my Gig1 connection via modem only mode. They didn't argue and placed the order there and then, coming tomorrow.

Well I fell down the custom keyboard world.

Check out the U4Ts, consider a spring swap too. Linear gang myself but I'd probably try Drop Holy Panda or U4T for tactile.

    BMW and M Power Owners

Looking at the M340i options list, HK audio is a must but not sure Technology Plus pack is worth it (seems like a lot of safety/parking aids). M Sport seats appeal. What options would you guys pick? I might end up going new rather than nearly new as there are a few decent PCP deals available.

    BMW and M Power Owners

Thanks for all this, I'll probably go back to the M340i option or maybe a nice F80 M3 if I can find one. The M5 warranty is just too much. Also need to think about keeping the 328i and running a pure weekend car. I've had the 328i from new for 9 years but it is still mint and such cheap motoring...

    BMW and M Power Owners

I'm doing very low miles at the moment (3-4k per year) so car afford to have more fun than my current F30 328i. I started looking at the M340i (initially new, then used when I worked out the depreciation). I'm now starting to consider a 2016 F10 M5 with around 60k on the clock. Insurance cost...

    Fast family car - ideas?

I don't need to change the 328i - that is the cheap car for pootling at the moment, just looking at options. My 328i only has 50k on it and is mint and kept under extended warranty. A new car will definitely be a bit of a waste cash wise which is why I'm thinking getting a used example and...

    Fast family car - ideas?

Hi, Looking for some ideas for a new (or new to me) car. I currently have an BMW 328i MSport (F30) but I'm ready for a change and would like something more fun. I'm doing very few miles at the moment, maybe 4k per year but I do need to fit a family of 5 occasionally. Currently thinking a new...

What was your first PC spec?

Dan Technologies in 1996: Pentium 133, 16 MB, Matrox Millenium 2 MB WRAM, Soundblaster AWE32, CD-ROM, 100 MB Zip drive and a 2 GB HDD. Also a 33.6k modem. Win 95 and an Iiyama Vision Master Pro 17 (although I wanted a 15 Sony Trinitron as soon as I saw one in the flesh, for the 90s flat CRT...

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

If you need a monitor now then I wouldn't instantly dismiss the AW3821DW. Still a great screen and a very decent deal if you paid £800 for the OLED.

Time to replace Rog Swift PG278Q?

I went from the PG278Q to an Alienware 34" IPS ultrawide. Nice upgrade in terms of colours, real estate and viewing angles but the Swift beat it for pixel response. Ultrawide is great for rpgs.

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Also received mine this week with an April manufacture date. That is entirely reasonable as it is made in China and will take around 4 weeks to reach the UK. In production is misleading and seems to mean they are processing the order in the warehouse.

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

That doesn't sound good, have Dell cancelled the order?

Have a look at this one, not cheap though: AVLT Dual 13"-32" Stacked Monitor Arm

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Mine was delivered today, all set up next to my AW3418DW (both VESA mounted). I did have the marks from the bubble wrap on the top of the screen but this wiped straight off with a screen wipe. Also no dead pixels so lucked out it seems. Really pleased with the image quality and it is a definite...

Cant get display on LG tv as second monitor.

You need to stick to 4k60 with your gpu. Both source and display will need to be hdmi 2.1 for 4k120.

Cant get display on LG tv as second monitor.

Honestly I would try another hdmi cable, if you are sure the software is set up correctly. I've had issues with certified cables not working as expected. 4k 120 with hdr really pushes the bandwidth requirements. I ended up getting an optical hdmi cable for my pc to 4k 120 screen due to needing...
