When I read 1ms on the advertising of an IPS monitor, then I read it's about something-something Motion Blur Reduction, then that it's virtual and is followed by an asterix..... I dont buy it. But many do. So this is all good :D

Dude if that's worth a replacement for you I may only suggest you to never buy an IPS.

I doubt you can even notice that during normal use. Looks perfect to me. You'll always have some kind of problems in the corners, that's not bleed, it's just the bezel doing its job of keeping the panel in place.

If the console pulls out frames at 1080p (if not less) that's what the monitor will show so 4k monitor + console = no go! As for the quality of the 1080p frames, it really depends on the scaler, so it may differ from monitor to monitor but for sure they won't be better than on on a proper...

Do not ask for it to be repaired unless you have no other options. Return it and ask for a full refund, then buy somewhere else. You'll have to wait for the refund to be issued though, it may take a while (1-2 weeks?) depends on the retailer.

They said somewhere that there will be a flat one too.

If you plug a 4k monitor to an xbone it runs at 1080p, so it may even be an 8k, it would have the same performances of a 1080 screen. It's the gpu that moves the pixels the monitor only shows them so on a 4k monitor you would simply have a grid of 4 pixels reacting as if it was a single one.

Why in hell would you want a 4k monitor to play at 1080p??

2k on 21:9 There's a freesync one too if you want, the X34 freesynced version. As for the xbone I don't know much about that but it should run at 1080p upscaled to 1440p, with black bars on the sides. Some games may have some workaround to run at 2560x1080 (upscaled at 3440x1440) but I wouldn't...

Sorry but doesn't the rx 470 have only 1 hdmi? Anyway it looks like windows or amd's drivers (eventually both) bitching about the priority to assign to each screen. You should try using at least one DP, that should be the primary screen. Report back if the issue persists. Not that I really have...

Thanks for the feedback, that's all I wanted to know, especially about the fact that neither IPS nor VA handle 144hz very well. I never tried one personally but that was my idea too. 100hz, 120 tops is plenty of fun, anything above that I'll leave it for marketing bullfecis rubadub :D

1) Blurriness doesn't pair with screen size, it's a tiny more complex. But generally speaking IPS and VA (like the Z35) aren't still able to run at 144hz smoothly. 2) Nope 3) They're coming they're coming. 3bis) Hell yeah! 4) Go ultrawide or gtfo :o

I should add that in a short time a whole new generation will hit the shelves but that's not there yet, and they'll cost more, even more than those two I'm afraid.

As a dual 21:9 owner, I was seriously declaring the search over. If anyone wants an AWESOME (in caps) monitor, that's one of those two period. :)
